Yes, I watch snake discovery and the Xs were inspired by watching that channel (hatching videos are like unboxing vids but so much better♥)

Specifically why I had the Xs was because other than the first outcome all the other patterns are selectively bred for pets thus don't occur naturally and would there for all be hatched in captivity with that X. I had a lot of fun looking up different types of morphs, there are so many amazing colors out there! Unfortunately I couldn't do them all so I did the ones I thought looked the most unique and turned out well on the line art. While I won't spoil the species yet, I will tell you that as a young child we had one of these snakes as a family pet, so I'm quiet fond of this breed. (I may tell more stories about him if anyone's interested.)
