This is ridiculous, but I goofed on my form and check-marked that the pet template designs were my original designs when I did use other things for a little inspiration :P I want to edit my template and remove the inspired elements from the designs, but I wondered if my entry had already been disqualified?

Question- I submitted already ... but one of my art pieces I submitted titled "bubbles," was a commission which I stated but I ddint note that I didnt design the background characters- the commission was a wedding piece and her theme was finding nemo... so dory and Nemo and destiny are all in the background.... how do i clarify that? Or did i need to? I'm not sure! Help? I drew them myself but they obviously made by Disney lol

I also had a commission piece of a CS pet... I drew it myself but I forgot to state it was inspired by the august PPS

You should be fine to edit the template, as you are free to edit your application up until they close c:

You should be very clear if anything you've submitted is not your own work or you've taken inspiration from somewhere else. The second question ('Has anyone else helped you color/draw anything you’ve submitted?') is probably the best place to clarify what isn't your own work, if it was a collaboration, .etc.

There are currently 10 days left to apply. The countdown is on the staff openings page in red font: application/

It doesn't matter if you submit your application the first day or a few hours before the deadline. :)

What are the benefits of the position then? I'm really tempted to apply but my mind keeps coming back to this, since Id get no form of payment. And last I checked you can't advertise really money commissions on CS so I'd essentially be working for exposure. And any artists knows working for exposure is a big no-no.

CS staff work just because they enjoy contributing to the community and making CS a better place, by helping to organize events, releases, and such. If you are looking for a more direct benefit then this position is probably not what you are looking for.

CS team roles should not be used for "exposure" since it breaks our site rules to reveal your personal information, even as staff members.
