Skull watched him with worried eyes, before padding to the puddle to flick water onto the pup with his snout, “wake up, don’t go to sleep yet, there’s fresh rainwater here!” he called worriedly, his tone softening as he looked down at the small lump of fur that smelled of smoke.

He went stiffened at the sudden cold that hit his muzzle. His parched tongue licked his snout hoping for some moisture, and was pleased to find a few drops. He opened his eyes weakly and slowly got up. He half stumbled half walked to the rain water and began gratefully lapping it up, dipping his face in it to try and get the grit off of his face. He was pleased to find, that he could see better, paying no attention to Skull he laid down and went to sleep again.

Firelight was pondering what might have happened to Skypack when Mischief's question shook her from her thoughts. Did she know this dog? She DID look familiar now that she thought about it. Then she remembered her dream a flash of dog heads, one of those was her! "I think we had a dream? One where we saw each other's faces?"

Skull was relieved to see her responded and got up on his own, though he noticed his shaken weak stance. He watched the pup settle down by the puddly, and he slowly and silently crawled over to lay a few inches from him-almost like a protection, as he laid his own head down to sleep.

Her sharp ears perked up and her muzzle curled upwards into a big, excited grin. "You're right! I did see you!" Her own enthusiasm nearly startled Mischief. Why did this news excite her? She didn't actually know this dog, and, even if she liked meeting new ones, it shouldn't feel this satisfying. She shrugged off the thought and tilted her head. "I wonder why."

Heathersun walked into the forest, bored as heck. He wanted to find another dog, perhaps two, because no one seemed to care about him back in Thunderpack. His fur shined in the light beautifully, and it was clear he was a handsome dog, but he never liked to brag.
