Just three questions of mine.

First, does the date telling you when the pet was adopted tell you whenever the original owner got it, or whenever it was first released?
Second, why wont the pound specify whenever it opens? It specified before now, but now it wont, and is this normal?
Third and final, any suggested CS discords?

The date on a pet tells you when the pet was originally adopted. Once it's adopted that date does not change.

The pound only tells you when it will open when it gets close to the opening time.

It does help, thanks! It did take a second for me to understand that when you said when it was originally adopted that means that you were basically just saying that yes, it means when it was originally obtained, besides that very easily understandable, again, thanks!

as a reply to your third question, try finding some cs discords on the other websites forum! i'm not part of any of them, so i can't say which ones are the best or most active, but i'm sure it's at least a good start. :>
