Oz nodded in agreement with what the others said, but he did not speak up himself. He wasn’t afraid to speak up he just didn’t have anything to say that hadn’t already been said. For now he decided that he would stay quite and use that fact that no one was paying attention to him. Slowly he reached into his pocket and pulled out a small chip with a microphone attached to it. He acted as if he was pulling his chair in and stuck the chip to the bottom of the table.

Oz focused back on the conversation at hand. When one of the girl mentioned she was practically useless away from the ocean he spoke up. “Maybe I can shrink down a swimming pool for you,” Oz said, only half joking. If it genuinely would help he figured he could work something out that was a little more practical then a swimming pool. "Also is there a tech lab here?" he asked the others. "I have a good amount of my own tools, but an actual lab to work out of would be nice."

When Roswell dismissed them Gabe decided to go talk to a few of his other teammates. He wanted to get to know them a little, but not because he wanted to become friends or anything like that. He did not care at all about building any friendship. Instead he wanted to figure out the powers of the people he was working with and what he might be up against if things go south.

Gabe decided to approach Benjamin first. It may have not been the best choice since he seemed particularly irritable, but Gabe was going to give it a try. "It’s Benjamin Brock right?" Gabe asked him and made sure it looked like he was looking at him so it was clear who he was talking to.

At finally hearing of the chances of monetary gain Theo relaxed, flashing a devious smile, "Finally you talk my language mon ami."
If this Mr.Roswell was willing to pay for his services Theo was more than willing to oblige. But he did wonder why this man was interested in hiring a thief and con artist.
No. It wasn't his place to question his employer, where there was money Theo would follow.
"I'm in" he added.
But Theo's smile faded and his eyebrow raised, when he heard the disdainful comment from the mutant. True his apartment was a dive, but it was still his home.
"Maid took de day off" he replied flatly shrugging as he did. Theo stood there for a moment longer waiting for the mutant to leave his room. But when it became apparent he wasn't Theo spoke up again.
"Do ya mind fuzzy?" He asked still in a state of undress. It was true Theo had no shame, but he did have boundaries and he wasn't about to change in front of a stranger.

With every step away from the meeting room, Rho's stride became more relaxed, and emotion began to creep back into her face. She'd leave the arrays for after the attack, it wasn't like she was going to get the thing portable by tomorrow anyways. Instead, she called up a small portion of her suit, a high-tech monocle forming around her left eye as she called up her files on the team being assembled. Hacking into SHIELD's network had been child's play, naturally. Even if she wasn't smarter than the lot of them combined, her uncle had designed the system. She'd grown up around Stark tech and infrastructure, she knew it like the back of her hand.

First on the list was Marshal Stark. Her cousin, apparently. She'd never met him, and he probably didn't know she existed. Troy was a bit off the map for most normal people, its guardian and his clone daughter even more so. Being an illegitimate child hadn't stopped him from living up to his father's image, every bit the genius billionaire playboy Tony was. Well, millionaire, but still. She'd have to keep an eye out for him tomorrow, it would make for one hell of a family reunion.

Rho flipped through the rest of the files with only a passing interest, not many of the other heroes on this new team really grabbed her. The Lang kid was interesting because she might be able to swipe a sample of Pym particles from him, but not much more than that. 'Kid' being a bit of a misnomer, he was seven years older than her.

"That's right," Rho called out, in response to Gabriel's question. "Benjamin Brock, age twenty-two, thwo-thirds human, one-third Klyntar. Calls himself 'Dropper', whatever the heck that means. Not that 'Reaper' is much better mind. I mean, really dude? What, is having an edgy name a requirement for being a blind superhuman or something?"

Billie snorted. A crude and thuggish response, she thought, betraying none of the tact one might've expected from a supposedly elite force like SHIELD. Perhaps a bit hypocritical a judgment for someone so notoriously tactless, but the difference (from her perspective, at least) lay in expectations. She hated the rigid and hierarchy-obsessed nature of these kinds of organizations, the cloak-and-dagger secrecy and the unnecessary authority posturing already clearly on display in this ugly modern lobby. Well, if she was so acutely disposable, then she'd go ahead and call his bluff. Some 'important mission' this was for her. With an irritated sigh, she swung her legs off the chair, she wrapped Hal's leash around her hand again and stood up, making a beeline back for the door without so much as addressing anyone else in the room. Why had she come all the way out here in the first place? She had to have known this was the way things were going to go. Maybe some horrid flash of hope had ignited in the center of her being and encouraged her to ignore the likelihood of everything being just as loathsome as she'd expected. In her mind, those bursts of hope were always her greatest flaw. For someone who strived so hard to see the world for what it was, she still often ended up with a skewed perspective, and that burned her to no end. Maybe she was wrong, and maybe this was her mistake, but did she care? Not enough to go back on her decision now. Nobody was likely to call after her anyway, and if they did, well, then they'd get exactly what they'd asked for.

Atlanta’s lips quirked up slightly as another hero attempted, at least partially, to lighten the mood. While the agents surrounding the room were still stone-faced as ever, he’d managed to amuse Atlanta, and that was all that mattered to her. She slowly slipped over to Oscar, dropping her voice down to a low whisper. “You got personality, which is more than I can say for most of the people in this room.” She chuckled. Her hands were shoved into the pockets of her jacket, fiddling with some lose Atlantan coins she carried with her everywhere she went.

pulling up outside of the plan a headquarters, yukino rolled the car window down glancing up and out. "Are you sure you want to do this young miss? if the master and mistress found out.." alfred pennyworth was sat in the passenger seat next to the young lady. he was like a second father to yukino and she loved him dearly but he could be a stickler for her father's rules. the brunetter rolled her eyes and turned to the butler. "father would rather me sit in board meeting all day than do what he and mother once did. i want to make a real difference to the world." she told the old man with a sigh before looking back out the window. alfred felt sorry for her as he'd practically raised her when both master wayne and mistress prince were away. yukino nodded while she turned to grab her bag and then went to open the door. alfred did the same but the brunette stopped him before he could get out the door. "no alfred, please, i dont want you with me." she said shaking her head. alfred frowned but removed his hand from the handle. "you will let me know if you need my assistance?" he asked with concern. yuki nodded in reply before opening her car door and stepping out. a black and white poosky [poodle x husky] jumped out of the car after the young lady.
she opened the door to the building and peered round to see if anyone was in. yuki found a group of young adults like herself
standing around and chatting. "um hello?" she said walking up to a tall dark haired guy with a gotee and mustache.

Argo turned to Atlanta. "We have reason to believe that Roswell's base may be hidden within the depths of Lake Michigan. You will prove much more useful than you think, Miss Curry." He then turned to address Oscar's concern. "We have an advanced tech lab in the basement of this building. You will have to share it with Mr. Stark-Channing's work, but it's pretty spacious."

Marshal looked up at the mention of his name, then turned to Oscars and smiled, giving a little wave. He didn't mind sharing space; he'd probably be doing most of his own work in the comfort of his home lab, if Argo allowed it. He glanced back at his phone to send his latest text, then put it away. Just as he shoved the device into his pocket, a new arrival approached him. He looked up at her from where he was slouched in his chair.

"Hey?" He questioned, wondering why she'd chosen to approach him rather than have a seat. It then occurred to him that she may have thought he was one of the SHIELD guys. "Oh, uh, Director Argo was just briefing us." He gestured to the older than sat at the head of the table, hoping that would clear up the confusion.

Argo Nodded. "Miss Wayne. Fashionably late, I see. Have a seat, we were just discussing any questions or concerns regarding the Plan A program."

Firi was relieved, at least, that this appearance wasn't this man's end goal. He stepped out into the hallway to let Theo finish his morning routine. Porfirio began to wander the apartment silently, trying to find a place to put himself while he waited. The couch? It looked kind of grungy. The recliner? What was that stain on it? The kitchen table? Not next to that take out box.

He finally spotted a pull up bar placed across the hallway entrance, and opted to wrap his tail and ape-like toes around it and hang there until Theo came out. His tail being the strongest part of his body, this was much easier than it might appear. Firi was quite comfortable hanging like a fuzzy blue bat.

When the mutant finally left him alone Theo let out a pent up sigh of relief, un aware he had been withholding his breath. Not particularly used to people sneaking into his home, he was still rather annoyed with himself for being caught off guard like that. Looking towards the window he grunted in pain, moving his hand to his temple feeling the effects of his hangover again. If he was going to make a deal with this Mr.Roswell he was going to have break through this somehow. Of all the days to get a job offer, it had to be the day after a lively party. Theo did his best to shrug it off for now, going into the bathroom to take a quick shower and freshen up, before getting changed into some clean fresh clothes.

Once he was ready Theo headed into the living room spotting his fellow mutant hanging from his pull up bar in the corner of his eye. In reaction he raised an eyebrow in question but said no more. In comparison to his appearance ten minutes ago Theo looked a changed man. Clean shaven and well dressed in a white dress shirt un buttoned at the collar, a charcoal waist coat and suit pants along with a pair of shiny polished dress shoes. Even his unruly dark brown hair had been tamed and slicked back. He was ready to take on the day, despite his persistent migraine. Walking over to the door he slipped on his black coat, it's long skirt swishing around his thin frame revealing its subtle purple lining.
"Shall we go?" He asked, gracefully flipping his fedora onto his head and putting on a pair of black aviator sunglasses to hide his strangely coloured eyes. Unlike his visitor Theo could easily get away with walking in a crowd unnoticed, accept for his black and blood red eyes. But they could always be easily covered up.

the brunette looked at the young man who told her what was happening and she blinked with a quick nod. "oh i see." she replied quietly. she went to take a seat near the guy when an the man - who must have been director argo - at the head of the long table spoke to her. she blushed a little when he mentioned her tardiness. she dipped her head in apology. "yes, my apologies sir." she replied politely. the dog who had silently followed his master in, took his place by her side sitting down without being told. yuki reached out a hand and stroked the canine behind his semi-erect ears. "good boy shadow." the brunette whispered with a loving smile. after settling down, yukino turned to face the guy she'd initially spoke to and extended a hand. "yuki wayne." she said and a wet nose nudged her other hand forcing miss wayne to look at its owner. she smiled and turned back to the guy. "and this lovable beast is shadow." yuki added as the dog pulled his head to the side to also look at the man. yukino had hoped that no-one here - except the director - knew who she actually once. gotham wasn't exactly the go-to tourist destination but it was her home and she would protect it like her father had done before her.

Oz gave Director Argo a small nod in acknowledgement when he answered his question. "As long as he doesn't try to mess with my stuff that should be fine," he replied while looking at Marshal. Oz was mainly concerned about him messing with his pym particles which could be catastrophic in inexperienced hands. Before he left he had promise to keep them safe and keep them from falling into the wrong hands, so he wasn't going to let that happen now. He had spent years and years learning from his parents how to safely handle them, but he still had to be vary careful when trying new things with them.

Oz noticed the girl come over to him and he gave her a small smile. "I don't know what your powers are exactly, but if you need me to build something for you that would help I can see what I can do," he told her. He knew very little of the people in the room with him and that included his knowledge about their abilities. The only two people he did know about were Marshal Stark and Joanna Rogers.

Gabe focused his senses on the Stark girl who had spoken for Benjamin. He found it interesting how drastically her entire feel changed once Roswell was gone. In just seconds he heard her go from talking with the utmost respect to making snide comments. "My guess is that Dropper has something to do with dropping dead," Gabe replied and his voice showed no emotion. "The name Reaper came from the news. They also called me Daredevil, but he was a very different man so I obviously couldn't go with that." Going by Daredevil would also be a constant reminder of his past, but of course he wasn't going to say anything about that. "There was a few other things they were calling me. Though they were all worse than Reaper."
