Hello everyone!
I've decided to quit Chickensmoothie, so I'm going to readopt my kalons to homes who'll hopefully appreciate them more than I will when I leave.

brief summary:
Space AU.
my concept for this guy is of a good-hearted, hard-working
kalon who tried his best but struggled to complete tasks due to
some inherent clumsiness. Never felt like he really fit in on his
home planet. As a young adult, joined an expedition to map a
mostly-unexplored aquatic planet.
That planet felt like home- Dover befriended some of the
native inhabitants and eagerly adjusted to life at sea. He'd always
loved the water, and walking across the deck of their ships he felt
sure-footed like he never had on the solid ground of his home planet.
He goes on to become a successful sailor/pioneer. Ends up staying on
that planet for good, becoming head of the expedition eventually, and
striving to maintain good relations with the native inhabitants. Loves
learning about their way of life- and they love this strange enthusiatic
sailor with long pretty hair right back. These kalons, the natives of his
new home planet and the members of his expedition crew, are family
to him.

Dover wasn't what one would call... successful. For much of his childhood and young adult life, he was known as 'the clumsy one,' who tried hard and had a big heart but just couldn't make things work. He loved his home planet, but at the same time never felt truly 'at home' there. Like the ground was too solid, like the gravity didn't agree with him. He dreamed of someday getting to travel through the galaxy, and maybe find a place better suited to him.
