Xione trotted up the road, Khana snuggled around her shoulders comfortably. "I know a good place to get food fast.... Well, besides here. And I don't think these people are going to like seeing you go back in there, huh?" She giggled, her hands behind her back while she smiled up at the sky gratefully. "Khana, you choose the one you want to go to. I don't think Ezvar back there has any real ideas." Xione said with a smirk. Khana mewed softly into Xione's ear she nodded, turning a bit and motioning Ezvar to follow her as she began to sped off at an incredible rate. Xione was trained to be an assassin the second she had lost her family and home. She used that to her advantage.

Xione stopped outside of a nice cafe. Clifford's Cafe. It was a pretty good place to get filling food, and this guy did owe her favours. "In here. You can get what you want. Cliff wouldn't have a penny to his name if it weren't for me, so he owes me big time." She said as she slipped in through the door, getting greeted by a skinny little chef with a rough brown beard, his stiffened hair hidden under his hat.

Xander could have easily thrown her off, shouted, yelled, and other such things..The thing was, he didn't. "Fine, but you do know that there isn't anything wrong with me. We don't even have enough money to pay the doctor fees Emma." The fact was true, Xander earned his own money, or looted it off of the people he occasionally scared off. If they throw their wallets at me, it's really their loss right? That was how Xander saw it anyway. "Come on Emma, don't be silly. All I really need is some rest ok?"

Ezvar followed her, he was pretty fast you had to find a way to avoid the cops. He pulled his hat down a little more over his face, he wanted to make sure this wasn't one of the places he had robbed before he let the chef really take notice of him. He looked around, it was a nice cozy little store, he really was sorry if he had robbed it. He took a moment to look around and then realized Xione was already up near the counter. He quickly walked up behind her, keeping his head down and his hands in his pockets.

Emma sat down in a chair, she knew far to well she wouldn't be able to help pay for the doctor. "But... but..." she tried to argue but she put her head in her hands, she didn't want Xander to get hurt and if he was sick she couldn't help but think it was her fault. Xander was always so careful about germs, as much as he was about everything else. If he had gotten sick it would have been her fault. "I just don't want you to get yourself hurt, what if that happened on the top of some stairs or you went into a comma." she was refering to the dizzy spell. Emma knew in the back of her mind that she really was over reacting but she couldn't help it, she didn't want to loss another friend.

Xione was just chatting with the small man about random, useless, but entertaining things, then finally introduced Ezvar. "This is Ezvar. He's been having a little trouble lately, and you do owe me. I'd like you to give him whatever he wants to eat, and a salmon sandwich for me and a tuna roll for Khana." Xione ordered, Khana mewing happily at the smell of the meat in the back. They did prefer fish more though. "Could I get a side of beef, too?" Khana mewed, her tail calmly lashing back and forth. Xione nodded and said, "Could I also get a side of beef too, Cliff?" she asked, and the man graciously nodded. "Of course! Anything for my little guard." Clifford said with a kind, elderly smile.

Xander shook his head. "I'm fine Emma, I just need to go rest for a while. I think I should go now, is that ok with you?" He knew it most likely wouldn't be. "You see Emma, sometimes we all have little issues. This is just a thing, and I'm sure that with time it will pass. I just feel like there is something missing..I want to find what that is, and maybe I won't get better until I do so." This was really hard for Xander to say all in one stream of sentences. He didn't really talk about his 'feelings' with others...Feelings that were not rants anyways.

Emma gave a sad nod and got up. She wanted to keep an eye on him but if he really didn't want her around, she'd go. "If you have any trouble, just call me." she told him. He had a habit of being in the wrong place and the wrong time, she didn't want him to get hurt. She gave him a sad little smile and quickly headed out the door. She pulled up the hood of her jacket and headed off down the street, she would worry, she probably wouldn't be getting to much sleep that night but she knew Xander wanted time to think and she would give him that, he needed that. She sighed and took out her keys as she walked into her apartment building. She got to the elivator and quickly went up to her room. She just threw her bag at the end of the bed and flopped down on top of her covers, she was tired and she fell asleep almost right away.

Gave the chef a little smile "What ever you have lying around." he said, when he got his food he sat down across form Xione. After he was half way through his meal, eating hungrily he decided to ask his question "Gaurd?" he asked, still confused at what it meant int eh contect. Ezvar wasn't stupid in fact he could be counted as smart but he had two problem when it came to that; he acted stupid and he refused to go to school and learn

"Oh it's-" "This little lady has always been here to keep troublemakers from attacking my quaint little cafe. For such a small girl, I was surprised that she could fight." Clifford had cut Xione off in pride, making her blush a bit. Humbly, she waved her hand and shook her head. "I told you to stop taking pride in something that trivial. It's not that big a deal." Xione laughed lightly and pathetically as Khana mewed in delight. "Yes, sorry about that, Xione. I'll be back with your food in about ten minutes. Take a seat anywhere you like! It's all on the house." The man said with pride as he went through a doorway to the kitchen to bake the bread and make the food.

Ezvar watched as the little chef left "Keep trouble makers out?" he said with a sly little smile, "How's that working out for you?" he said crossing his arms. He took a moment to wait for his answer but then, since he ad abviously not robbed this store at any point, he took out his hood and hat, for once someone actually got to see all of his face at once. He shook his hait but the ends still protruded at the oddest angles. He glared up at it angrily, wishing he controled electricity and could stop his stupis hair.

Xione smirked a little, tapping one of the blades that decorated her short hair. "No one ever said that I couldn't bring in a friend of a friend though. Plus, if you do anything, I'll take you down like everyone else. No matter what you are." She giggled lightly, but that stopped the second she saw his hair. "You should really try to do something to stop all that static. It's a little wierd with the hat." She was a little surprised that she hadn't noticed that before, but Ezvar never showed himself to her this way.

Ezvar gave a little smiel and stood up in fornt of her, he wasn't much taller than her, being very small for a guy. He stood on his tippy toes, making even Ezvar look almost commical. "I'd like to see you try." he crossed his arms and stepped back down, content enough. He looked at his hat and shoved it onto Xione's head and pulled the flap over her eyes, "There now does my hair look better?" he asked, it was a stupid thing to do but for once he was actually enjoying himself and trying to make someone laugh instead of cry.
