Here is where you'll complete pumpkin designs to earn final raffle tickets in the event!

Final raffle will include special custom lined lions, rare items, and special treats!

-Contest is judged at ~7pm EST.

Your mission is to design a pumpkin for your lions! You can create a base to do this, or just post the image to be 'carved' on it; It is judged on unique/creative ideas, not quality!
Every day there will be a winner who earns +5 tickets and a random prize, a second place with +3 tickets, and a third place that earns 1 ticket.

This contest will take place multiple times (each day) leading up to the 31st.

Note: the idea behind this design is the whole layered carving, so lighter shades of orange signify another layer cut out, with yellow being the candle light finally peeking through.

"Look, Ma! It's me!"

Her cub exclaims, pushing the even more lopsided pumpkin towards her. Swift North looks at her cub, then to the pumpkin. Both are covered in juice and squash guts and seeds.

"Oh, my."

Swift North's spouse, Linanthus, strolls up looking far too pleased with himself and his idea of holiday festivities. "She even added her stripes!"

Astrona beams. "I made a big smile, too!"

Swift North considers the pumpkin some more. It will certainly frighten off the evil spirits tonight-- and maybe some guests.

Their jack-o-lantern would have to represent their symbol. However, after a couple of unsuccessful attempts at carving a dreamcatcher into a pumpkin, they would instead cut a hole and attach small, green pins around it. They tied a string to the pins in a very simple star shape. Now it can ward off both ghosts and nightmares.

Pumpkin carving attempt 1: Ozmore's pumpkin.
He didn't really understand what to do and eventually gave up.
He set the entire thing on fire and headed towards the rocklands to sulk.

All of them were super nice and all the smashed/ thrown/otherwise crushed ones gave me a laugh... there were some attempts, tell ur lions they did their best tho

Linanthus, the devil, had procured more squashes for their daughter.

Swift North managed to convince Astrona to try painting some squash instead the next evening-- Astrona could not be convinced that one festive pumpkin was enough.

Astrona's father appears again, looking at the family of pumpkins.

"How nice, my love." He purrs-- and Swift North has the impulse to tackle him when his eyes gleam. "Did you know, Astrona, that you can put lit candles in the carved ones to make the faces light up?"

"Fire?!?!" Astrona shrieks, immediately obsessed.

"LINANTHUS!"

"My Queen, what are you doing?"
Malkia sighed. "How many times have I told you to just call me Malkia, Tai?" The young queen asked with fond exasperation.
Tai chuckled. "Many. But are you doing?
"Carving a pumpkin. Frozz said he saw some of the humans carving them for some kind of seasonal celebration. I thought it would be fun to give it a try."
"Well what are you carving into it?"
"Remeber the story of the Great Lion from when we were cubs? I'm carving his constellation." Malkia said proudly.
Tai squinted his eyes and turned his head dramatically. "Oh. I think I see it now!" The teased, getting a swat on the head for his trouble.
"Oh you! If you're just going to judge, just leave. "
"Nah, I think I'll stay and watch."
