I would like to audition but are other programs to use accepted? Currently the main drawing program I use is IbispaintX, but I don't know if it would be allowed to use.

can I use a pixel brush for the inside color of the llama / fur?

also can I do a some minor changes to how the eyes look? like adding an extra white dot?

The eyes can be recolored however you want, but don't change the lines. Since all the eye detail and color is on one layer, you have to either redraw the eyes or recolor them by changing the hue of that layer

Several others have asked the same question, and any program should be fine as long as you can open and edit PSD files with it

Which brushes you use is entirely your choice.

Please do not change any linearts - even the eyes. If you want to change lines and show us examples of what you can do, you could apply as an item artist.
But for pet artists we want to see your colouring abilities. ^^

Reasonable changes in color, such as gradients (between palette colors) or faded edges, are fine.
