Moonpaw didn't know what to say or what to do, and she just glared down the rabbit hole. If only she wasn't fluffy, and was kit sized. Se glanced at Pinepaw, whom was breathing heavily on the ground, and shook her head. Was she supposed to comfort her? Because she didn't feel like comforting; this was a rather frustrating situation. She questioned how it even happened. How did Pinepaw even manage to miss the rabbit?
Moonpaw sighed, ignoring what she had just thought. No... she should just try to help motivate her clan mate again, whether or not she was disappointed as well. Moonpaw came to pinepaws side, and sat down as well. Her heart was beating, and she was heavily breathing, but she managed to hide the rush in her well. "ah, Pinepaw. you did plenty fine. I suppose you just...forget to leap at the prey before it's gone, right? I doubt you'll stay an apprentice too much longer; at least no longer then me!" She tried to nudge the other one, but missed and didn't try again. Moonpaw couldn't be bothered, because she was upset she couldn't help Pinepaw.
She quickly stood, and sniffed the area again, hoping for an easier catch. She wasn't sure how to help, now. Moonpaw doubted encouraging words would have their usual positive affect for much longer. "Pinepaw, let's not get stuck on one misfortune; let's keep going. Nothing good comes out of nothing, so let's do something." she meowed, standing in a spot of shiny damped grass, in a patch of sunshine. Her fur was prickly and ruffled up, but the glimmer of daylight shone well of the sleekness on the individual strands. The young molly attempted a calm, near neutral or kind, face towards the other. Hopefully she wouldn't give up.
