this is a character of mine I decided to update/design again. This is a modern AU version of him, so he doesn't have wings here.

ahhhh, I have missed your art popping up! I love your style, is this character a sort of saint? Just wondering cause in some of my art history classes saints are portrayed with a golden halo like he has. Even if not, I love it! Keep up the amazing work!

In terms of the halo, I included it mostly because through the course of his life, Hayato has questioned his morality and achieved internal bliss through hardship. He's a calm man overall, and I just think it fits.
also I just love art from that time period and like to sprinkle motifs in with my art ;)

Really though, he looks so incredibly kind and serene- a face you automatically trust. The lighting on this is amazing too! His eyes really seem to glow! (Good call with the halo, agreed.)

Not to tease anything too soon, but I have a very long story made, with Hayato as one of the main characters. I've been working on translating it into a visual novel ;)
So... maybe we'll be seeing more character art/design!
