Ok, so, currently I use IBISPaint on my phone due to my not so great windows7 computer, would it be ok if I used that as my artwork outlet? I'm more experienced with it aswell and might be getting a drawing tablet for my birthday

As long as the program or app you are using can open Photoshop's PSD files, it is fine to use c:

Is it ok to submit artwork you drew of other people's characters, to demonstrate your capabilities of an artist overall, or are you guys only looking for extra artwork containing original designs? If both are allowed, should I specify which are my original designs and which are pieces of artwork I drew for other people's characters?

For pet artists it is important to design yourself, so the wisest is to provide additional artwork of characters you have created yourself.

If you are not the creator of the design you are showing us in the additional examples, you must let us know about it.

I really really want to be an artist and do this, but i have a minor issue.
i only use chicken paint/ the oekaki boards for art, thats the only thing i can use
is there a way i can do it using oekaki?
like even if someone makes lines that are hidden and i colour it still hidden.
because i really want to do this and give it a shot, chicken smoothie is like such a
great website and im on like daily so this is a great oppurtunity and i hope we can
negotiate a way around my issue.
if not thats fine because thats ur choices

Unfortunately oekaki does not have the capabilities or tools required to make CS pets. Even if the application were in oekaki, as an artist you would be unable to make CS pets or items with the Chicken Paint program.

However, there are some free similar programs, like GIMP or FireAlpaca, that you could try if you wish to apply. These programs do have the necessary tools an artist would need access to in order to make CS pets/items.

There's a website called photopea.com, it's basically online Photoshop, and should hopefully work for you. Best of luck :]

Is there any restriction on the kind of art we can attach? Other than having to be by you, of course.
