indentnightholly watched the tom cat work with a small smile. as the tom stood up, she quickly glanced the other way and watched at her half-eaten food. as she watched the tom disappeared into the woods, she quickly gobbled up her food and decided to follow the tom into the forest.

Taking the herbs to the forest, he simply dropped them on the ground as it didn't matter where they were because they were simply leaves and flowers. Instead of going back to camp he continued on, allowing the quiet sounds of the forest to clear his mind. "You can't think of her that way. You know you can't..." he scolded himself quietly as he walked. Not really paying attention to where he was going, Eaglegaze continued on, weaving through the trees and straying from scent trails generally used by his clanmates. With a start he realized that he had trekked almost to the border of the territory. He had been gone much longer than intended and he noted this as he glanced to the sky to see the sun dipping below the tree line, throwing beams of light through the trees. One beam in particular caught his eye and he traced it to where it settled. Softly padding forward, the medicine cat realized that it was a holly bush with something caught in its branches. Upon closer inspection he felt a chill go down his spine. An eagle feather in a holly bush... Is this a sign of something or am I just being paranoid? He felt hopelessly confused, but yet glad that no one was around to see him like this. Sitting down in front of the bush, he gently pulled the feather out of the branches and set it on the ground, seemingly studying it as he went through the different things filling his head.

Creamflower looks over where Ravenwatcher was watching and smiles, happy to see Iceflake is keeping Greenkit busy. "Im sure she will too one day!" she said. "Lets just hope she will find a tom who will love her!"

indentonce she was in the woods, she opened her jaw to taste the air. it seemed as though eaglegaze had travelled to the border of the territory. with a slight flick of her tail she decided to follow the scent. she wondered what the medicine cat was doing at the border at this hour. perhaps he was just collecting herbs, she thought to herself, but another part of her feared that the tom was meeting up another she-cat at the border. she soon spotted the medicine by the holly bush, seemingly studying something on the ground. she allowed her breathing to slow down as she watched silently for a trace of another she-cat. no, it can't be. nightholly whisked the thought of another she-cat away and mustered up the courage to talk to the medicine cat. "eaglegaze? what are you doing at the border at this hour?"

indentthe tom nodded, "and i hope that she will have the life that she seeks as well." the tom mewed, glancing at the she-cat ever so often. the tom suddenly spoke again, hoping it didn't come out wrong. "have you ever thought of raising kits again? uh.. i was just.. wondering." he grew bright red.

Creamflower thinks for a minute before looking back at Ravenwatcher, smiling. "Of course!" she said. "Ive always wanted a second chance to be a mother again to make up for losing my first litter moons ago."

With a jolt, Eaglegaze spun around to face Nightholly. Upon seeing the familiar face he calmed down somewhat. "I was simply going out for a walk and didn't realize how far I had gone, no worries." He forced himself to sound civil and calm, while his mind was in turmoil from the sign and everything else. "Now what brought you out here after me?" His tone was curious and has a faintly playful edge to it, helping to ease the tension from being caught off guard.

She laughed "well you never told me to be fair, did you?" she meowed to the kit, walking backward as he was leaping at her way.

She flicked her ears around the cleaning, wondering if there was somebody to talk with as she realized that her mentor and Nightholly get out of the camp again. She did feel that there was something going on with the two, but she didn't really mind about it, instead, she decided to go to the fresh-kill pile to eat something.

she tried to catch a squirrel, but as she didn't have luck with those preys she decided to try to hunt some birds. Getting to her position, before punching and hitting one of the bird down to the ground, killing it quickly.

He looked at her then elsewhere flattering his ears "um...so what do you want to know, about me?" he asked, he was never being good to talk himself. He didn't want to be like some proud mouse brain or just stupid on other cats' eyes, for now, he seemed shy thought.

"your favourite color," she murmured under her breath. the leader wasn't sure why she asked that question, but she recalled fondly the colour of the sky when the sun began to rise one leaf-bare morning. right, the she-cat thought to herself, this could be why... the colour of the sky.

"i was simply curious about what brings you out into the border of the territory at this hour of the day. perhaps you're looking for a beautiful she-cat of some kind?" she mewed, teasing the tom ever so slightly.

With a faint chuckle, Eaglegaze watched as Nightholly drew closer. "And why would you have to worry about that? I am a medicine cat after all..." His voice faded and his sensitive nose was filled with Nightholly's sweet scent. Catching her gaze with his pale yellow eyes, he smiled softly. "Besides. I don't have to look for her. She followed me all the way here" he added softly. Something clicked in his head and he no longer worried about anything in his way. He kept his gaze focused on her as he spoke and waited for her reaction.
