Thank you, in the meantime, anyone with recent trades (expanding that definition to include the past year+) involving OMGSR's and older store pets are welcome to post them here or PM them, they'll go on a spreadsheet ill eventually use to make the guide and post.

i really like how you're putting this together and how it's excluding rarities & other subjects that others put in guides. i'll be excited to see how this turns out! i'll be bookmarking this to see the progress

i think the most ideal version of a thread like this would avoid rarity. the last time rarity and demand were subjectively combined it created the rares list which i don't think anybody wants. that was a hot mess. I voted "demand" for that reason.

The idea of only uses trades as evidence might not be the best idea though. There are a lot of people out there who are very against the idea of a demand list and 100% will fabricate trades in order to ruin this project out of pettiness lol.

demand gets a bad rep but I think its a part of any healthy economy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but unlike rarity it throws opinions in the mix so hopefully this thread can remain civil. I'm really curious to see how this turns out

I think best way to avoid this is to not rely on the evidence of one person/the few people posting, but to go out and seek evidence on the FTT and auction forum in addition to whoever posts. Outliers can just be thrown out so long as we know how to distinguish them. It may seem difficult to get around fabrication but with the old list people have been able to keep demand relatively easy to follow to the point where many users valued pets at the same general area.

this. keyword searches are incredibly easy to do and there's a couple of user-compiled database threads to archive vr/omgsr trades. the main problem i think would be weeding out any posts we might find suffering from cerb syndrome ahaha. people with certain pets are always going to value them higher than everybody else like the red cerb coughcough so it's all about finding a balance.

i get why demand gets an awful rep (the pps dragon cat has been trading for sorbs recently and i just.. i just can't with that. that's insane) but i agree with this fellow in that it's an important part of this economy. a £10 note, for example, literally only has value because people want it. in reality it's just a sheet of plastic.

Going to try and play around with some ideas as far as how ordering should go or giving ideas as far as how much of X pet is going for based on accumulated trades when i get the time. OMGSR's and older store pets going to take precedent of course.
