...these cats lived in peace together. They were united, known as Laurelclan.

After many moons and a new leader, cats were unhappy with the change of leadership. They felt that the new leader was too harsh and not as kind as the previous one. A revolt was started, and the clan split into two sides. One side wanted to follow the new leader, and the other side wanted to vote for a new leader.

A civil war within the clan started, and blood was shed. A decision was made for the clan to fully separate into the regular camps -- one clan would go to the camp on the coast, and the other clan would go to the camp in the mountains.

Generations have passed. Both of the clans, Shoreclan and Summitclan, are thriving. There has been peace for a long time, and cats have remained in their own territory.

At least... until now.

Personality:
Ripplestar has two sides to him. One side is shown towards his clanmates, and the other side is shown to the opposing clan.

He's very compassionate and caring, only wanting the best for those who follow him. Ripplestar is watchful of everything that goes on and often knows each cat personally, always being friendly. He doesn't believe that a leader should ignore his clanmates, so he takes in everyone's opinions and often holds votes for big decisions.

Although there has been peace between his clan and Summitclan, Ripplestar can be hostile at times. He holds a grudge against their leader for not allowing his daughter Nettlepaw to live with him, and he often raises a fuss about it. Although his daughter was meant to live with her mother, he heavily wishes there was a way for her to return to him after his mate's death.

History:
As a young warrior, Ripplestar was curious about the other clan and often visited the forest to see what the cats were like. One time, he met a she-cat named Mapleglow and became attracted to her. They met many more times and eventually became mates, then having two kits when he was 21 moons old. Due to the Summitclan leader's rules, Ripplestar was unable to go into the camp and meet his kits. Mapleglow was forced to stay in the camp to care for her kits, although one of them was taken by an eagle after wandering out of the nursery. When Nettlepaw became an apprentice, Mapleglow returned to her regular warrior duties and fell off a cliff. However, Ripplestar believes that she was pushed and has been arguing with the Summitclan leader since then. He's also been fighting to get Nettlepaw.

Description:
A short-haired tabby she-cat with light brown fur and dark brown markings. Her eyes are light green with dark green flecks.

Personality:
Nettlepaw has always been feisty, flirtatious, and fearless. The reason she became a medicine cat apprentice was in honor of her mother and her sibling. However, she believes her role allows her to talk back to the higher ranks, so she often does so. On top of this, she flirts with all the she-cats she can find, even if they're from Shoreclan despite her leader's rules. Nettlepaw loves to disobey her leader, so she often goes to the forest to "find herbs" -- meaning she's either seeing her father or talking to Shoreclan apprentices. She's kind to all Summitclan cats, but she's also suspicious of them and thinks that one of them pushed her mother.

History:
She's struggled a lot in her lifetime, but she masks it with her wild personality. When Nettlepaw first became an apprentice, her mother was finally allowed to return to patrols. However, she managed to fall off a cliff during one of the first patrols. Ripplestar claims that she was pushed, and she somewhat believes the same. He also believes that she should openly grieve more and tell him about her feelings, but she refuses despite their close relationship. She's become skilled in treating cats and healing wounds, but she can't fix the ones within herself.

Appearance → Spottedlily is an undeiably beautiful she-cat with short, sleek golden-brown fur and soft olive green eyes. Her body is covered in black and darker brown rosettes and stripes. She has long legs, a lean body, and dainty paws. Her sides and belly are a bit lighter in color and she has a hint of white on her muzzle. Her right forepaw is rather mangled and unusable due to a past injury.

Personality → Spottedlily isn't like most medicine cats. She is a fierce cat who knows how to command respect. While not typically outright rude, Spottedlily has a certain lilt to her voice that makes her sound vaguely annoyed and standoffish at times. She is a loyal, hardworking cat who gives her all into being a Medicine Cat, even if it isn't the life that she would have chosen for herself. She is strong-willed and stubborn, the type of cat who will 100% tell you off for making her job more difficult, even if you are the leader of the clan. She is also a very proud she-cat who holds her head high, even in the darkest of moments. Spottedlily is known for having a powerful protective streak in her, and a soft spot for kits that she tries to hide. When she wants to be, she is kind and gentle and deep down she just wants to do her best with the paw life dealt her.

history → Spottedkit was born into the clan to Dappleface and Stormtail of Shoreclan. Her parents were both strong and well-respected warriors, and Spottedkit always aspired to be just like them. As a kit, she was constantly getting into trouble. She had a huge adventurous streak and was constantly sneaking out of camp, often rallying the other kits to join her. She was a natural-born leader and her parents (and clanmates) always felt that she would eventually be one of the greatest warriors the clan had known. And as she began her apprenticeship, it seemed that their guess was right. Spottedpaw was fiercely competitive with a drive to achieve everything she had ever wanted in life. She was undoubtedly the best apprentice in her age group. Fiercely competitive, stubborn, driven. An excellent huntress and fierce fighter with aspirations of eventually becoming Shoreclan's leader. Spottedpaw was merely a half-moon away from her Warrior Ceremony when tragedy struck. Eager to get an early start on hunting one day, Spottedpaw slipped away from camp in the wee hours of the morning and went hunting in the forest that lay between the two clan territories, hoping to impress her mentor enough to make him want to make her a warrior earlier. Things were going well and she was accumulating quite a bit of prey when she stumbled into a bear trap. It was fortunate that the metal toothed contraption only got her right foreleg, but by the time her mentor came looking for her, the damage had been done. Her right leg was a crushed and mangled bloody pulp, the bones completely shattered and the actual paw barely even attached. The old medicine cat, Troutwhisker, was able to save her life but not her paw. In one fell swoop, all of her dreams and aspirations crashed down around her. With only three working legs, it looked like Spottedpaw would be sentenced to life in the elders' den until a message from Starclan led Troutwhisker to take her on as his apprentice. Spottedpaw was resistant at first but eventually threw herself into her studies with the same vigor and passion that she had her warrior training. Now she's one of the best medicine cats the clan has ever had, and she is finally satisfied with her role even if it isn't the path she intended to take.

Appearance → Sunstrike is a large, lean, and well-muscled tomcat with long ginger and cream tabby fur. His neck fur is a bit thicker than the rest of him, giving him an almost mane-like appearance. His face, back, and sides are marked up with dark ginger stripes, and his paws are a solid dark ginger.

Personality → Sunstrike is characterized as an easy-going, happy-go-lucky, and flirtatious tomcat. He is intelligent, an excellent hunter, and a ferocious fighter. He is a well-respected member of the clan, dedicated and fiercely loyal, but sometimes easily distracted. Especially where the ladies are involved. He is a notorious flirt, with no real plans on settling down. He is very charming and sweet, however, and knows when to not push boundaries.

History → Sunkit was born to Cragtail and Eaglefeather of SummitClan, alongside his brothers Moonkit and Viperkit. Growing up, Sunkit and his brothers were all extremely close. They were always together, and they remained together throughout their apprenticeship together. Their mentors were all close friends and so the three trained together almost daily. They were eight moons old when Moonpaw died. A freak rockslide forced him over a cliff during a routine border patrol. By the time his body was found, it was too late. The loss of their brother took a lot out of the two young tomcats and they were a lot more somber during the remainder of their training. Becoming warriors, Sunpaw became Sunstrike and, in honor of their fallen brother, Viperpaw became Vipermoon. Unfortunately, Vipermoon was killed not long after when the unusually small warrior was scooped up by an Eagle and carried off before anyone could stop the bird of prey. While Sunstrike puts on this air of ease and happiness, the truth is that he always keeps cats at arm's length to protect himself from the pain he felt losing his brothers.

Sunstrike did have a mate at one point. He and Stonestare grew up together and were kithood sweethearts and she helped him a lot through Moonpaw's death. Unfortunately after Vipermoon died, Sunstrike became closed off emotionally and it caused their split. They have three beautiful kits together and he tries to be a good father but often finds himself not knowing how to connect with them

Appearance → Bramblekit is a small, stocky she-cat with long, thick chocolate brown fur and a small tuft of white on her chest. She has pale green eyes and one of her right ears is torn from being caught on a bramble bush when she was a newborn kit.

Personality → Bramblekit is a lot like her father. Confident, charming, charismatic she can put a smile on anyone's face. She is happy-go'lucky, eager to learn, energetic, and bright. She is a sweet but feisty and extremely independent kit. She has quite a stubborn streak and tends to be a bit argumentative.

History → Bramblekit is the daughter of Stonestare and Sunstrike and the sister of Fawnkit and Bumblekit. She was the runt of the litter but it barely shows. She might be small but her personality is larger than life.
