Just curious and throwing this strawpoll here -
How would people feel about a guide that helps people decide how to value their pets - it wouldn't give definitive values but it would talk about things to be aware of when trading, how to know when someone is perhaps undervaluing or overvaluing their pet and like I stated above, give several people's opinions at once on a specific pet's value?

I've been throwing around the idea of talking about how I personally view trading and my general philosophy surrounding it which I feel would be beneficial to those perhaps feeling overwhelmed by higher rarity trading - but I think adding in multiple people's opinions to that sort of idea might be a good idea.

I would like to see another landmark pet

Like how a sorb is half a non, and a non is.. a non.

But when you get down to lower list pets it’s hard to figure out different values for them,

Like, what’s half a sorb?

I’m sure we could find a pet that’s usually about that value

It would make things a whole lot clearer. I don’t even answer ftt questions about low lists because I just don’t know

It's honestly really hard to make landmark pets now as people are used to sorbs/nons/toxics/balloon dogs but one of the sorbs went OMGSR lol

Store Lists?
I never thought about excluding stores from the list, that could be a good idea. I'm not sure though, because then, things like the Orange Cerb and highly sought after things could be ninja'd from people coming back after a while. That's all I'm worried about there. What do you think though?
If it comes down to updating fast enough, again, I'm here daily to take care of it c;

I'd agree that excluding them is probably for the best, because they aren't entirely compatible with other pets, but that's not to say you can't have an info box to say that any pets with the "C$" Store tag was bought with the sites premium currency. That they are never re-released and therefore increase in value as the years go on, so their value steadily increases and their availability drops as people keep them for their collections etc, and to see their current values to search the fair trade thread, successful trades thread, or reference another list with trading info regarding them if/when one is made 😊

So what I’m gathering from the users last post, it isn’t going to be rarity based because they don’t know how many pets there are and it’s going to be demand based? Lol this is definitely a repeat from last year. Sorry but I really do not think this is a good ideas as do most people that have replied as we were here and got affected by the last rares list...

Toxics aren’t that low. And
I don’t really understand what the passive aggressiveness is for. Why? I gave a pretty neutral suggestion. It’s just,, petty. We aren’t even really arguing anymore, there’s no need for you to be here if you aren’t giving anything constructive

My guide which i originally created earlier this year is supposed to showcase what most people are currently paying for for certain pets using trade evidence to allow people to make judgments as far as pet worth, how is your list going to be different from mine?

I ask because im getting the impression this list would try to be a reflection of what people are currently trading for certain pets, and since mine is already going to do that, this would be kind of redundant. But i may be wrong.

I'm not proposing an idea, im stating what my thread is. This isn't the thread to talk about whats going on with me but if you have to know its purely demand based. I'm asking is this list going to be purely demand based as-well, since I'm already doing that, having 2 would be fairly redundant.

Please see here:Sorb = 2 green toxics or 4 balloon dogs

Red Toxic = 0.75 sorb or 3 balloon dogs
Green Toxic = 0.5 sorb or 2 balloon dogs
Balloon Dog = 0.25 sorb or 3 blue roses

and a non is 252 mid-advents or 1750 09 rares

the rarity break-down mathematics works to a point but you'll never get two green toxics for a sorbet because quantity > quality
same way sunjewels don't get 5 nons quantity anymore, maybe 3 individual nons if you're lucky - demand of quantity which I'm pretty sure was also a cause for contention in the old list because of how downplayed the demand of quantity was because they tried to make the list mathematical /: but I don't know how to solve that problem
