I also don't agree that the list should consider demand, it's up to each user to decide how they value the pet's demand. A few days ago I found an user that valued pets COMPLETELY differently from me. I'm sure that they wouldn't want to follow a list with my values and I wouldn't want to follow a list woth theirs.

Also the grinner doesn't have bad demand at all, during the past few months I had at least 8 and traded them all off easily following their list value and got overpay on 2 of them. The grinner's bad demand is 100% a myth

Yes! The dragoncat and Shima will be placed right alongside the lists that they are of equal worth to, going by how many '09 rares they are worth compared with similarly valued lists. Certain non-lists from before will will be lists according to this one.

I am still considering how to do the rats. They are certainly not valued very high by most people, so there will likely be a poll to come later on, to get people's general opinion on whether they should be placed below, at or above a sorb's value. They should be placed around that area, but it depends on how the poll goes, and the opinions we see later c:

If I’m completely blunt and honest... this should be a red flag.
The shima isn’t even a very rare. The dragon cat is very rare, however, it’s legit only worth a mere 09 rare. Neither of those are ”worth” a list. Demand does not equal worth. In my opinion there have been way too many mistakes already.

Exactly what never said. They are in no way WORTH a list. People just keep boosting the demand out of greed.
Including demand in the old list was what created its downfall and it looks like this list will use the demand in an even worse way. The reason why placing pets due to their demand is such a bad idea is because people take that placement as a base value and then up it even more with demand. Take the Black Advent for example. It is the same rarity and worth as a normal old tier 7 advent. But because of demand it was placed higher. Then people doubled and tripled the value EVEN THOUGH THE DEMAND WAS ALREADY CONSIDERED IN ITS PLACEMENT. Please whatever you do, do not include demand in this list and ruin the trading economy more than it has already been ruined by the old list.

ok this is my opinion

demand is a poor indicator of worth

i saw about two store pet sets that are just rares, bought possibly for the bonus outcome. (bonus outcome possibly had a higher demand)
also, about the red and orange malk dragons, the orange one went OMGSR while the red one is a VR (fyi, also the one higher in demand)
all in all, this makes me believe that demand decreases the worth (of store pets, anyway) and it shouldn't be a useful tool to indicate rarity.
edit: knowing that, it seems like it will ruin the cs economy

As someone who helped run the old rares list, I think if you were to do a poll on if people even wanted this to begin with that would be the place to start.
The whole reason the other rares list was ended was because majority voted for it to be closed down.
Also it’s not a ‘rares list’ if it’s based off of only demand, just a note. It’s more of a demand list, so a different name would suit this better.

Even then, it's gonna be tricky. It's like telling the whole world the color green doesn't exist. Some will go through. Some will still be following by the old rules.

I think you should get everyone together and attempt (I could make a discord for it) to have a discussion on everything we want to achieve.

Cause personally I think we should just revise the list and go by what others already follow (like red cerb at 4 nons and coontail at like 2) that kind of stuff.
