“Yeah... I’m sorry love. But she seems to really like you.” He said with a smile. He went and got the girl ready to eat and then took her to the table. “Jake would steal my food...” she said quietly. She did not like that. She was glad she wasn’t there anymore. She sat at the table and waited. Luke helped his boyfriend serve food. He then sat down. Tess ate happily. “Thank you.” She said as she ate.

Jaxon nodded as he let Luke go and get her ready, he sat at the table with them, and smiled softly at Tess, "Well, no one will steal your food here." he reassured her softly, "I am glad you like it."

Tess smiled and ate happily. She was glad that no one would steal her food and she could eat in peace. She finished eating and stayed sitting where she was. Luke ate and when he finished, he stood and started to clean. Tess was sitting and waiting to be excused. She did not say anything though. She just sat quietly.

Jaxon looked at her and smiled softly, "You can go and paly with Daisy again." he told her, he stood and began to help Luke clean, "After we are done cleaning up we can all go for a walk." he said with a light smile.

She nodded and got up and went to play with Daisy. She was having fun. Luke smiled at him. “I would love that.” He said to him and kissed his cheek. “You are so perfect.” He said and cleaned up.

Jaxon noddedand sighed softly as he cleaned up, he smiled a little at Luke, he wasn't sure what was going to happen when Tess found parents, and he was worried about what it would do to Luke.

Luke smiled back. “What is it love?” He asked him. He kissed him and then leaned on the counter since they were done cleaning. Luke wondered why his boyfriend was so unsure. He wondered if bringing Tess here was a bad idea.

Jaxon sighed, "Will you be able to handle it when she gets adopted?" he asked as he looked at Luke worriedly, "I don't want you hurt Luke." he said softly, "I love you okay? And I don't want you hurting." he said soflty.

Luke looked at him. “I will be fine. She will be going to a good home then. Right now, there are a lot of not so great foster places. I just want her safe and happy.” Luke said looking at him. “I will be okay.” He said and hugged his boyfriend.

Jaxon nodded with a soft sigh, "If you say so." he said as he moved away from the hug, "We should find her a coat or sweater to wear on the walk.' he said, going to ask her if she had a sweater.
