I was drawing a Barioth in church by memory today and I embarrassed myself. It would seem that I forgot how to draw my favorite monster from Monster Hunter. To make myself feel better I looked up a ref and tried again here >w<

The last time I drew my cute little kitty demon on oekaki about three years ago, whew.

Glad you recognized it! Monster Hunter is a big part of my life, it's my favorite series. The short answer is all of them. The long answer is that I first played Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii and then went from there. Between my sister and I we have Tri, Freedom Unite, 3U, 4U, Stories, Generations, Gen Ultimate, World, and Iceborne. The only ones we haven't played are the oldest games and the ones exclusive to Japan, hah. We actually have an entire AU roleplay, MH is important to us. But I better stop gushing about it otherwise this paragraph will quadruple in length >w<

Ahh thanks! MH monsters are kings of detail, it makes it hard to draw them simplified sometimes.

Stories has a gorgeous art style. Even though my sister owns it she refuses to let me play because you can only have one save file per game. I intend to buy one for myself if she continues to refuse me because I love it a lot. Stories is really different from the main titles though, so if you ever got one you might be surprised, heh. For beginners I would suggest MHGenerations/Gen ultimate, 4 ultimate, or World. 4U is one of my favorites, Generations has great tutorials, and world is pretty much a perfect game, I bought a PS4 just so that I could play it haha. But you probably shouldn't listen to me I'm biased.
And if you aren't interested in the main titles that's okay, stories is wonderful on it's own <3
