“Yeah... our hours are not really longer than any other working family... we could do daycare during the day...” he said. “You are right but it really is okay if we don’t. I will get over it.” He said to him. “I can’t help it. I really like kids.” He said.

Jaxon looked at him, "I do too Luke." he said with a smile, "But, they may not want to let a wolf foster her." he said softly as he looked at him, wanting to make sure he knew he might be turned down because of what he was.

“I know. We can at least try if you want to.” He said to him. “As long as you are 100% in.” He added. He was ready to foster the girl. “I can call them and see what they say if you are sure.” He said and kissed his cheek. “I love you.” He said. He was so excited that they were going to do this.

Jaxon nodded as he looked at him, "Of course." he said with a soft smile as he watched him, "Call them, I love you too." he replied.

Luke smiled and then found the number and called. He talked to them about Tess. They said she was in a group home now and not doing too well so it would be great as long as she would be okay with living with a wolf. He smiled. “Yeah. We can meet you over there right after work. Thank you.” He said. He hung up and went over and hugged his boyfriend. “They really needed to find her a foster family. So they said we could do it as long as Tess is okay with you being a wolf.” He said. He was so happy.

He noded as he looked at Luke, "Please don't get too excited Luke... she might not want to live with a wolf." he warned softly, not wanting him to get heartbroken if Tess said no because Jaxon was a werewolf.

“I am sure it will work out but I promise I will not get too excited yet. We will go talk to her after work.” He said.

Jaxon looked worriedly at Luke, it seemed he already had his hopes up.... He silently got back to work, feeling drained, worried about Luke.

Luke worked and sighed. He wasn’t sure that Jaxon was as excited as he was. He just hoped it all worked out.

Jaxon stood at the end of the day, "Ready to go?" he asked as he looked over at him, knowing they'd head straight to the foster home.
