kestrelstar stretched and laid down on one of the large rock dotted of the camp.

everything in the lagoon seem calm and kestrelstar was grateful for that. drizzlepelt, the new queen, had quickly made herself at home. even though she was a loner, clan life seem natural for her. the only thing off about her was how she dodged questions about her past life, especially about her mate. he supposed she would grow more comfortable talking about it with time.

he was acutely aware of his lack of free warriors since brookheart and cobramask become mentors. poppyflame and him were only members available to patrol and he couldn't see how they could keep that up for long. the only thing he could do have take his concerns to starclan and hope that they grant his wish.

brookheart and cobra watched as galepaw splashed around in the shallows chasing grass shrimps while buzzardpaw stood stiff with his back arched, seemingly growing more tense as more waves lapped at his fur. They assumed his tail would be between his leg if it didn't mean it would get wet too. The mentors planned a swimming lesson today to start it they wanted to get the pair acquainted with the water. after all, most cats would rather avoid the water, especially in the colder months they found the two in.

"buzzardpaw, are you alright?" brookheart meowed sweetly to the small tom.

"it's cold..." buzzardpaw murmured quietly, embarrassed by her concern.

"you're barely in the water!" galepaw chirps trotting over to her brother, the tom tried to move out of the move before she brushed her wet fur against his side but, at last he was a bit to slow. "You'll never get used to it like that!" she remarked as she circled him, the tom didn't reply back just sat there slowly trying to sink into the water. brookheart hoped that with a little more time he would warm to the idea of swimming.

"what are you doing on our territory?" poppyflame questioned staring down the two cat she found, they reeked of a foreign clan. the van she-cat shrinked at her words but the chocolate tom stepped forward.

"we are both looking for a clan after are old clan disbanded" the tom said "my name is dustnose, and she is featherwisp" he flicks his tail towards the she-cat.


along poppyflame's patrol, she caught sight of two loners on further inspection they were two ex-warrior
dustnose and featherwisp met and were chatting, they were both looking for a new clan.



draco was sure he had lost his mind. he had dreams of

draco stalked through the thick undergrowth, at this point starting to think he was losing his mind it takes a special kind of crazy to not only dream of star talking to him, but then to actually listen them and try to find the place he saw in said dream? that's a whole another story.

the air around draco was hot and dense, grey storm cloud hung on the horizon .

drizzlepelt looked down on her kits, one tom and one molly, with a look of upmost love and affection. the tom was birth first and was the larger of the two, he was a pale brown with thin close-together stripes. the molly was small and delicate looking, she had thicker stripe similar to her own with splash of white on face, legs and stomach. they both reminded her some much of milo and while normally that would leave her heartbroken, this time it seemed to fill the gap he left behind. the tom reminded her of the bark on the alder trees, they used to spend days under - so alderkit. the molly's delicate look seemed fitting of flower in the garden of milo's twolegs, she vividly remembered him trying to tell her all of the flower that stretchered the fence. however, she only remember one, his favorite, the dahila - dahilakit.

drizzlepelt was so deep in thought she didn't seemed to notice the crowd that formed around her trying to sneak a peek of the newborns. that was until heatherfrost pushed her way through telling the crowd "to give drizzlepelt some space". it was a gesture the normally shy drizzlepelt would be gratitude for but this time she wanted her kit's to see, adored as she adored them.

the nursery was filled with affectionate chatter, the two sister had spent the days since cascadefur came to the clan catching each other up on many moons of there life. drizzlepelt talked about her old mate, coming to the clan, and her kits (which at the moment were being watched by skye) while, cascadefur talked about wild stories about her loner life and her romances.

"so....do you like-like anybody in the clan?" cascadefur mewed.

"i have a m-" drizzlepelt had to stop herself when she realized what she beginning to say. "erg- I mean no..." it was weird taking about looking for mates when there was still some part of subconscience that didn't come to terms to milo's death. beside that she had kits, and all of her attention was going on them. cascadefur's fur cheeky grin made drizzlepelt groan in annoyance, not that she was surprised.

"uh-ha" cascadefur purred with amusement, her voice has low and teasing "you know I'm takin' that as a yes, right?" drizzlepelt ducked her head deciding what she was more embarrassed for: her sister behavior, her answer or the fact she didn't see this coming.



galepaw's patched fur rippled with new stripes as she roamed through the dim forest. a tri-colored head raised ahead meeting her with mischievous green eyes, foxglove she thought to herself. she was one of the newer members that had came from another clan and had quickly found her way into the ranks of their group.

"buzzardpaw and echoshade will be here soon" galepaw spoke answering the question she knew would come "buzzardpaw had a hard time convincing brookheart to let him go and echoshade had to back him up" she taunted, foxglove smirked. they both knew it was an excuse, pretty sorry one at that.

'galesong? what kind of name was galesong' galesong let out out a huff, sure she was on a silent vigil but, for for this she-cat that was sure silent. buzzardshadow smirked as he sat next to her, she scowled back. 'the only good thing about this vigil is that I don't have to deal with him'. after all she knew what that smirked meant "I got a better name then you~".




galesong slinked through the bush, buzzardshadow close behind her, until bursting into the clearing where echoshade and foxglove already were. galesong balanced herself on a log across from foxglove, while buzzardshadow went ahead to sit next to echoshade.

[ buzzardshadow and echoshade bonding, echoshade being a insecure. maybe them finding caesar? ]



"why can't we play in the water too?" dahilakit whined to her mother as she passed gobypaw and caesar training.

"your still too small" drizzlepelt mewed peering back her kits both trying to look as sad as possible to guilt her into letting them go.

"come on, we're almost as big as gobypaw now" alderkit chimed in, cascadefur let out a purr of amusement "it's true!" he insisted.

"uh-ha" cascadefur teased with her kits wobbling at her paws as she sat next the shore, both of the queens thought it would be a good idea if them and the kits got some fresh-air.

"alderkit, dahilakit" drizzlepelt called "it's getting late"

[they came back with two new kits]


[ cascadefur names her kits cypresskit and jasminekit ]
[ sorreltail spotted the loner trying to hunt a shrew, upon walking over she scared off his prey earning an annoyed glance for the tom, which was a replaced by a slightly frighten one when kestrelstar and poppyflame joined her. after a few minutes of chatting the tom introduced himself as a hawk, when kesterlstar offered to let him join he accepted and was rennamed hawkpounce ]
[ drizzlepelt calls back her children to find two older kits along with her own, they say there names are pansykit and cranekit and that they came for a disbanded clan, lilacclan. ]
[ an apprentice named caesar was found by buzzardshadow and echoshade wandering into clan territory. when receiving the offer from kestrelstar to join, he accepts but, is adamant about his keeping his name -which was fine by the leader- and is mentored to almondbark ]

[ kestrelstar promotes cobramask to deputy on account of her natural leadership and stern attitude ]

last moon. kestelstar's patrol catches the scent of a mate-pair of badgers on their territory. cobramask is the one that ends up finding them, she, sorretail and kestrelstar quickly think of a plan of fighting them. on the other hand, poppyflame and seawhisker seem more nervous. having the element of surprise on their side, the five cats charge the pair of badgers. during the fight, kestrelstar gets pinned by the badger. however, a rogue comes by and help get the badger off of him. the now six cats successfully chase off the badgers with only minor scrap and cuts. the rogue introduces himself as falcon and is later named falconclaw. Around this time infection sets in kestrelstar's wounds and he later looses his first life to it.

this moon. mention pansykit + cranekit becoming apprentices. graveclan refugees, ivytonuge, lichenbelly (renamed cedarsmoke) and reedpaw, are found and join the clan. kestrelstar and cobramask observe how many of the cats are cautious of them due there clan's reputation. poppyflames talks about being nervous about having an apprentice. while galesong takes an platonic interest in reedpaw. echoshade and buzzardshadow make small talk, echoshade starts to confess her feelings about him but, hesitant and changes the subject. + have them find out about reedpaw's vision issues.

kestrelstar stared across the expanse of the marsh, the patrol had caught the scent of badgers their territory and now it was a matter of finding them.

"cobramask, can I have a word with you?" kestrelstar asked he passed her, she nodded

notes:: ravencrest's arrival and causally saying his was sent by starclan.

cobramask is sitting watching almondbark "train" drizzlepelt, making a snarky comment about if she'd known sharing tounges would count as training she would have got somebody to train her. her train of thought is interrupted by ebonygaze. being that the tom normally just comes around to mess with her, she questions his motives. he replies that's he's just trying to be friendly. they talk about the various relationships in the clan. some how they get to the topic of starclan-sent cats (probably due to Ravencrest's arrival). ebonygaze seems troubled about why he was sent here, saying that there must be a reason for it. (also saying that he's had a talk with heatherfrost about it who said "even starclan makes mistakes") he comments on how starclan sent her there. cobramask denies the claims saying that it's just rumors and that she wasn't 'special'.

kestrelstar interrupts the two saying that he needed a word with cobramask. him and cobramask walk away when out of earshot of ebonygaze, kestrelstar makes a comment about "he'd never thought he'd see the day they talk so civilly". cobramask does the cat equal of rolling her eyes. cobramask suggests ivytonuge as a mentor, kestrel notices that's she being softer on the ex-graveclan cats. kestrel starts talking about mentor for crane + pansy however, cobramask seems uncharistically spaced out. kestrel comments on it and ↓

cobramask mind goes to the star-sent cat stuff she was talking about with ebonygaze. kestrelstar says that he believes the spirits bring cats that have quantities that the clan needs, that they see the best in them. probably brings up something about them sending her, even though she denies it. He says that they must have seen some leadership quantities (that he doesn't see in himself). cobramask comments about how he didn't seem confident in his answer. Kestrelstar opens up about being insecure about his kittypet past and worry about his clan disbanding like many of clan his clan members came from. when he realized what he said he quickly apologizes and ends the conversation there.

finch isn't happy about being taken in by the queen claiming that her mother is coming back and if she's not where she was found, her mother isn't going to find her. finch isn't having any of the "if she returns, the patrol will finding her" saying that the clan cats would scare her off. she keeps to herself during this moon, thinking to herself that the clan cats are werid
