She was wandering when she heard voices, she followed them and found two little dogs. One of the dogs looked like one of the faces in her dream. When she heard Skypack she spoke up. "What's Skypack?"

Dawnpaw sniffed at the air. "It is, actually," she said, surprised that she had missed it. "That's coltsfoot!" Dawnpaw scurried over to the cluster of coltsfoot, and began to carefully strip the leaves off each one. Viperfrost had taught her to leave the little leaves so the plant would live, and to try to not break the stem, as this would be wasting future coltsfoot, and killing the plant when they needn't to.

Skull’s eyes couldn’t help but narrow as the rustling continued. Leaping out of the small puddle he’d cooled off in, he padded over, inhaling the air before freezing. Fox. He growled, his lips curling up into a snarl as he slowly crept closer before a full grown fox leapt at him. He growled out as it pinned him, the fox’s jaws jumping to his throat followed by a small screech of the creature. His spiked collar had really done him justice. With the animal taken by surprise he bowled it over with a heavy blow, the fox speeding into the forest again with blood dripping jaws. He shook himself off, a bit soar from the hit but nothing grand. Walking back over to the shade he sat, his racing heart finally calming down again.

She looked at Dawnpaw then the yellow field of flowers "Coltsfoot? I see cool...even I did have some help to find something" she said with a flick of her tail. She stayed behind when the medicine dog apprentice started to strip the plants carefully, watching how she was doing it so she could make take some too.

Dawnpaw looked up from her work and smiled. "Yeah. Do... do you want to try gather some?" she asked rather shyly, her fur waving slightly. "I try to take the bigger leaves, because if we take everything it kills the plant." Dawnpaw now felt her thoughts wandering to what it would be like to be a warrior apprentice, learning to fight and to hunt. It sounded so... different; almost unimaginable now. Dawnpaw also knew, that, generally, Shadowpack warriors were, well, not the fiercest; maybe the most ruthless? She wondered if that meant the apprentices received more pressure to be that way. Huh, guess I'll have to just wait and listen to figure out that one... she thought.

After they ate their parts she thought about hanging some to the kind older she-dog and a pup she met before. Flicking her tail to her brother to follow, she made her way toward the two "hello again...It's me and this is my brother darkness...just wondering if you wanted some deer? so it's not going to waste, it was pretty big one" she said to Goldenheart.

He helped his sister to take some part of the deer to those kind loners she was being mentioned, flicking his eyes when he saw the older she-dog and a pup "Greetings...Like she said I am Darkness...you was Goldenheart and Acornpup right?" he said gently, giving look toward the pup.

(by the way, Wolf was the one with the hawk/falcon? Just wondering if either of my two siblings could even try to catch that bird?)

She nodded to the medicine dog apprentice "well yes, I did promise to help you so I guess I will help you to collect the herbs you need" she said to her. She looked the leaves "I see the biggest ones, but could the mouths saliva kill the leaves?" she asked suddenly, only now she started to think about it.

Dawnpaw blinked in surprise at this thoughtful question. "Well, I suppose it could, but... well, I haven't had any problems with it before." She thought for a second, then with a small smile, said, "Well, maybe no licking the leaves, but otherwise they should be fine. Coltsfoot is a rather hardy plant. I'm just really cautious, I guess." She smiled inwardly at herself for never having thought about that, and at her surprise at Flarepaw asking it.
