Fae looked up, and saw that the stars were absent tonight. A frog croaked nearby and plopped into the water. Fae shivered slightly, feeling alone. Her amulet glinted, reflecting off the water as a single teardrop fell and Fae faded into the trees.

"Fae!" called Flower running up to her "Tomorrow night will be an Eclipse. But this is special. Only this Eclipse do we get are whole power, so we war then! Problem is Light has more wolves then us!" she howled scarcely

Fae jumped nearly two feet in the air. She was not expecting Flower to appear so suddenly.
"War? I didn't know there was a war going on. We are fighting Light then? And what's this about a special eclipse?" She asked, trying to cover her surprise and regain her composure as she attempted to keep up with what Flower had said.

"Yes! The Eclipse pack have been fighting for centuries, before i was born! We are fighting light and they are not as powerful but they out number us! The Eclipse only happens when the sky goes clear, it will be clear tomorrow night but with a golden Eclipse!" She shouted terrified

Fae was getting jittery because Flower was so upset. "Well I will do whatever I can. I have never fought before, but I am sure I can hold my ground." She paused for a moment, "What exactly is a Golden Eclipse?" She asked, "What happens to us?"

Flower sighed "Sit down..." she told "I will explain"

Fae sat, tilting her head to one side absently in curiosity. She was very naive, she realized. She resented her mother's fear of the outside world now, having been forbidden by her to know anything about it.

"You see, when we are wolves we do not have our powers, correct? Well, on regular Eclipse we just get half our powers, the minors. But Golden Eclipse we get all our powers, good for fighting. So non every Eclipse wolf calender, There's the Golden Eclipse fighting day." Flower looked toward the pack wolf a little upsetly "I just wish we could get along already, but water and air won't listen!" A tear rolled down her cheek but she wiped it quickly.

Fae frowned, she had always felt extremely powerful on regular eclipses, what would a golden eclipse feel like?
"Do you know why the war is going on? What started it?" She asked, regretful that it saddened Flower so.

"My family does not speak to others about it but packs are family's...The powers wanted to know who was tougher and fought, they were so angry they split the Pack into four different ones. A very hard change for everyone, especially me! I was always the nice one and now i must war!" Another tear rolled and got slashed away
