This is the Harry Potter series fan club, for everyone who has read the books, watched the movies, or both. Here you can discuss everything about the series, everything from funny gifs to why Malfoy is easily slapped.

Favorite character and why: Snape, because.
Favorite movie/book and why: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is my favorite movie because the film quality is excellent and the plot nearly seamless. Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is my favorite book because it is exiting and enthralling.

Why you want to join the fan club: I've been a fan of the series as a whole for nearly 2 years now ^-^
Favorite character and why: Luna Lovegood, she's just, like, the purest character imo
Favorite movie/book and why: I absolutely adore the 6th book, mostly because of Dumbledore's funeral scene (god that made me emotional aaaah-)
Have you read the rules?: Of course, that's like, the most important part, right?

Why you want to join the fan club: I’ve been a fan for about 8 years, and I love Fantastic Beasts as well! Can’t say I liked Cursed Child though... I refuse to believe it’s canon lol! I love to meet new people that like the same things I like!
Favorite character and why: Hmm I have to say Neville actually! I love his transformation arch and I thought it was very unique and cool!
Favorite movie/book and why: Order of the Phoenix because it’s awesome! I feel like you learn the most about the Wizarding World in that one!
Have you read the rules?: Is the Ravenclaw mascot an eagle? Yes of course I read the rules!

Why you want to join the fan club: Been a Harry Potter fan for several years, looking forward to having fun with some other fans.
Favorite character and why: I have two, and they are: Bellatrix; I think she's a very interesting, entertaining villain and she helped me to accept my messy, curly hair. The other is Luna, because I relate to her as I was also the "weird kid" at school.
Favorite movie/book and why: Order of the Phoenix; it introduced Luna and I like the Dumbledore's Army plot.

Why you want to join the fan club: I'd like to join this fan club because I'm a total Potterhead and I need more people to talk to about Harry Potter. My friends are sick of me talking about it. :p
Favorite character and why: Favorite character hmm.... probably Ginny or Hermione. They are both so totally awesome, and can I just say...Girl Boss!
Favorite movie/book and why: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix book and movie all the way! The book is just so good and has so many layers and excellent characters. The movie is just as great and the actors are fan-tast-ic!

why you want to join the fan club
i'd like to join the club because i've been a fan
of hp since I was a very young child. I really enjoy
talking about it, even twenty years later.

favorite character & why
my favorite character of all time is sirius black.
I feel like he was a lot of unexplored depth, and
what happened to him was incredibly tragic. this
entire backstory is, really. I find is easy to empathize
with him, and he's one of the characters that really
comes alive through fandom. it's fascinating.

favorite movie/book & why
my favorite movie is prisoner of azkaban.
not only does it feature the first on-screen appearance
of my favorite character, but's its also cinematically
gorgeous. the setting was really well done in this one,
and it feelings like a cozy movie you'd wanna watch
around christmas.

yes!
