Kai rolled his eyes. "Your a grim reaper!" He said, snickering.

Soro glared at the area infront of them. "Oh,shut it."She hissed,going forward and reaching a wall. "Okay,dead end.."As she turned around,she saw something dash ahead of her. She tensed.

"What was that?" Kai asked, looking around the darkened area as his reflection appeared.

Soro blinked,trying to focus on the movement. "I don't know,but I have a str- there it is !"She said. Like most meisters *Unlike Gold*Star and his father* Soro was able to see souls. She spotted a dark red soul above them,and then a little ways away from the entrance. She glanced at the one infront of them before she had the wind knocked out of her. Soro gasped,being knocked to the ground bythe strong force.

"SORO?!" Kai shouted, tempted to transform.

Soro blinked,wincing from the impact with the hard concrete. "Kai,I'm fine."She said through gritted teeth,though the bandage she had wrapped around her knee had teared and was burning like heck. She scrambled to get up,and quickly dodged the kishin as it stabbed at her. Soro ducked,and slashed towards it,only to be hit by the other tainted human. She was knocked against the wall,and was holding Kai's blade infront of ehr to block. "Okay,maybe we shouldn't have taken this mission after all."

Kai winced, gritting his teeth tightly together. "No." He said, taking a deep breath. "I know we haven't tried this yet.. But we need to resonate souls." He said, his reflection fading from the blade.

Soro nodded,wincing as the two tainted humanxs stalked towards the pair. Soro gripped the handle tighter,blocking again. "Back off..."She mumbled as they continued to come at them. "I said back off !"She barked,but it had no affect.

"Concentrate, Soro.." He muttered, closing his eyes. Kai took a deep breath and tried to visualize their souls connecting.

Soro breathed out,nodding. "Concenrate,right. Got it."She said,holding out the blade as a sheild. She closed her eyes,trying to do what he said. The faint blue glow that surrounded most meisters during a resonace was also covering Soro. She breathed slowly,trying to make their soul wavelengths match even more than normal.
