Vertigo found that he was shaking a bit, and tucked his hands into his pockets. Only reason he was shaking was simply because he hated being inside rooms that smelled so heavily of Vampire, the sickly scent was distasteful and he wished it away. Witches scented of humans, which didn't bother him, only with a slight edge. Inhaling deeply, he realized that both of the strangers were Witches. This made Vertigo's eyes widen a bit, and he smiled with a slight malicious look about him. Finally! After years of searching for a suitable Witch, he just happens to stumble upon two? Now, it's only a matter of which one of them to take... Vertigo let his eyes rake over the male, but then he quickly realized that he was far too muscualr to catch easily at all. It wouldn't be worth it, and he'd need some serious man power for that job. Angry Witches weren't fun to mess with. Glancing that the girl, he smirked. He knew that she'd be right about perfect, might as well take a pretty one, right? So it was decided then that he would take the girl with him, but first, he would need the other objects. Witches came last, at least as far as Vertigo was concerned. At the girl's question, Vertigo rubbed the back of his head and said in a sheepish tone, chuckling slightly,"Y-yes, ma'm, I am a bit lost. I was looking for the exit, actually. My friend has some business to attend to and told me to see myself out, but how am I to do this when I can not find the right door?" He gave her a smile, though it still seemed sheepish and a bit boyish. Calculating, planning, that's all Vertigo was ever doing. Truth? Didn't exisist as far as he was concerned. Being fair? Well to Vertigo a fair was just a place to ride Faruis Wheels and eat corn dogs. Not that he bothered with thoughs.
Vertigo noticed the man's cold gaze and bit back either a laugh or a growl, it was just one of those days. He wanted to chuckle, then beat that look off his face with a bat. Of course, that wasn't going to happen while they were in a Vampire-run castle, but it'd be great if it could. Now honestly, Vertigo was not usually a man of violance, but when it came down to it he just had a lot of anger. Anger, betryal, viciousness. All of it from his inner wolf. Vertigo was snapped out of his little anger-induced thoughts by the female's questions about the necklace in his hand. [censored]. He looked down at her through his eyelashes and said,"Oh, ha, I stumbled upon this in the halls. Thought it had a nice charm to it. I won't lie, I was going to take it...but you may have it since you know who the irghtful owner is." Vertigo really, really did not want to give that necklace up, not for the life of him, but he knew that he must. If he just said that he wanted it and it was his, then there would be some sort of conflict. How annoying. He held the chain out to the Witch slowly, not wanting to seem agressive in the movement. He may be a merciless Werewolf, but he did have compassion. It was clear if you ever got the chance to actually know Vertigo, but most people could care less about this fact. Who would ever want a Werewolf with kindness in his heart? Ever since the beginning, the dog-like demons were thought of vicious and murderous, if you were any less then you were consisdered weak and not worth anyone's time. But, since Vertigo had become Head Wolf through clever trickery and amazing wit, it was clear that the old fable was out.
