Ash nodded some as she strapped her weapons back on. "I would like that..." she murmured softly as she looked up at him after getting redressed completely, running her fingers through her black hair. Her wings took on that drooping look that had seemed to become normal for her, unless she was using them, of course. She certainly wasn't like the other Sulents she had met, those that were happy and laughing.

She sighed, she knew this question would come. She looked up at him, wondering how exactly he would take this. She decided the direct way was the best. "To visit a vampire." She said simply. "He might be able to point us in the right direction or atleast to someone who does." She said, she noted his sadness and wondered how exactly the amulet affected him.

.:Anamerak:.

Anamerak smiled and extended his hand out for the Sulent to take. She always seemed so sad, so reserved. He wondered what was wrong but didn't pry. It wasn't his place to pry.


(Oh, can you put that Sae has a crush for Alhar? And I am making a new charrie soon. ^.^)

Alhar snapped out of his state at the word 'vampire'. His eyes widened and he gave Sae a critical look. "You do realize a small problem wiht that don't you? I'm a paladin; the vampire and I meet and it will most likely end up with one of us dead." he said slowly, trying to make sure his point got across. He had only ever met one vampire that had been haunting his brother. It had nearly butchered them both. That had been when he was about fourteen though, now that he was a full paladin things were a different matter though the vampires here would be stronger and he had the continoual sense that he had weakened.

"Don't paladins also kill assassin's?" She pointed out drily. She shrugged slightly. "You want to get out of here don't you?" She asked, her crimson eyes narrowed slightly, almost suspiciously. She looked back down at the table, shaking her head. "Besides, he's blind and is a weak little scholar. She added, looking back up at him.

Ash smiled some and took his hand, rising and moving somewhat closer to him. "Thanks..." she murmured softly as she looked into his green eyes. She soon turned her head away, letting her hand fall as a light blush rose to her cheeks. She tried very hard to hide the blush, as she hated it when that happened and she certainly didn't want him to know her feelings.

Alhar opened his mouth to argue but stopped, he really didn't have an argument. His shoulders slumped and he crossed his arms, a childish expression coming onto his face "Fine." he grumbled, not happy with the situation but he was given an chance and vampire or no he would have to get home soon. He sat down and looked back to the stairs "How late can they sleep?" he asked, he needed to get going, there was plenty to do and to him there was only so much time to do it in.

The elven boy grinned slightly, tugging the sulent along. He opened the the door and started to head downstairs, still gripping at Ash's hand gently. He let go once he to the bottom of the stairs, but he looked back and smiled. He noticed that the assassin and Alhar were already there, and it seemed they were in some discussion. Alhar had his arms folded comically, like small child. He walked up to the table. "Morning." He chirped, cheerfully.

The assassin giggled softly when Alhar folded his arms like a pouting child. She shook her head slightly. "You'll be fine. I promise." She said, smiling slightly. She nodded to the stairs. "Not much longer." She pointed out as the elf and Sulent showed up.

Alhar turned around "Finally." he said, trying to sound angry but he couldn't help but smile "Come on, let's get going." he swung his sword back over his back. He looked over to the door, the weather wasn't too bad, it was a little gray but that seemed to be normal here. He looked at Ash and Anamerak seemed to be getting along well. He turned back to Sae, "Lead the way." he gave a little guesture to the door, still smiling.

Ash let herself fall to the back of the group as they left the inn, walking behind Anamerak even. She had her head down, her hair in her face a bit and her wings were a little droopy. She had reclosed into herself once more with no real intentions of getting out again. She felt incredibly embarrassed for blushing like she had in front of Anamerak, simply from him leading her along, even though there was nothing she could do at this point. Part of her figured she was being stupid and that he would never love her, but another part was full of hope.

Elenwen gave a misceviouse little smile and held her arm out for the raven to land on it, "I have a companion, do I not?" she said, the raven continoued to stare with it's unblinking eyes. This boy was an elf, she hadn't seen many that didn't throw stones at her and shouted half elf. She could feel the mist drift back around her feet, she truely hated that mist, "I don't believe I have properly introduced myself; the name is Elenwen Elinora of the gypsies." she only then remember her clan's destruction and pasued, was she really a gyspy anymore? Yes, she had always been one and always would be.

Alhar stood near the front. He was usually the one stuck of their, acting like a sheild for anyone behind. He stayed close behind Sae. He told himself that it was so he could get in a fight faster if one came by but the real reason was he didn't want to lose her. He didn't want her to just fade away like Feathers had. He caught another glace of swan feathers curciling up above. He looked down at the ground, kicking rocksand froze when he nearly kicked Sae's foot. He looked up and took a step back when he realize how close he had come up behind her. He looked down again, but walked much slower.
