Emma stopped and put her hands on her hips, she gave a little pouty face and stuck out her tounge. She then went on singing "Oh, message in the stars, million miles away. Message to the main, Oh." she paused, forgetting the rest of the words. She shrugged but kept skipping along, humming a mindless little tune before walking into the nearest subway shop. She waited in the line, waiting for Xander's complants.

Xione blinked cluelessly and tilted her head just a bit. "Who'd you lose? I can bet that it wouldn't be your family, since my family were all jerks." Xione was curious, but Khana could tell that this would have been a bad idea. "Xione... You shouldn't ask things like that. You've gotten in trouble for doing things like this before." Khana mewed. "But I'm curious." Xione said, looking up at Khana who still lay on her head, pawing at the bump on her forehead. Xione was always rather... oblivioius.

Ezvar raised an eyebrow "Family? I was raised by foster parents who couldn't be bothered to remember by name. To them I was just the kid that lived in the attic and occasionally raided the fridge." He groaned, sticking his hand in his pocket. Devil continoued to sit on his shoulder. Ezvar was in a bad mood, bad enough that he didn't notice the annoying imp. "Who did I lose?" he paused for a moment, for once his own pain showed. He quickly looked down though, hiding his face. "Abby, my girlfriend. S-she was murdered." he managed, barelly above a whisper. He looked down, at the logo on his jacket. He could feel the old tears building up as the old scar reopened. Why was he telling her this? Maybe it was because no one else had bothered to ask, or even care.

Xander shook his head. Then Emma took off for Subway. He looked at her. "It's...Seasons come and go but I will never change
and I’m on my way." He spoke the words because singing was not going to happen in the same day as an 'I'm sorry'. He opened the door, and held it open for Emma to get through. "I don't want anything, so just go get what you want to get." For some reason, Xander wasn't hungry today. He wasn't hungry yesterday either. Did something change?

Setsuya then ran his finger along Lueria's scale and grinned a little. "This is Lueria. Your creature doesn't seem developed enough to speak. Can he?" Setsuya asked, looking down at the mouse. He could see potential with a soul creature that small, but what use could it be without some kind of voice? Lueria revealed her eyes again and scanned Andershire, looking for any possibilities of threat. Lueria found out that is a Phantom gains all emotions without being able to use them, their creature gains a strange ability. Lueria wanted to make that this girl was not a phantom. If she was, then Setsuya would have to kill her. It was the oath that he took.

Nellie patted Andershire cheerfully on the head.
"No. He can't talk"
She replied, picking him up and placing him on her head.

Andershire nestled down there, as though her head was his home.
Nellie giggled a bit at Andershire's routine.

"But why would I really want to expect more from such a cutey?"
She said with s double-sided meaning.

Xione tilted her head a bit, then crouched a little to see Ezvar's face. "Abby Lansdale?" Xione asked, Khana looking down at Xione knowing who she was talking about. There was an Abby Lansdale that Xione was visited by some... dozen years ago. One day, she disappeared and Xione went looking for her. Just finding her was difficult, and she didn't find her, even with her training. Not one clue for Xione to find. After that, Xione was always scared of being abandoned. This was a chance to regain her pride. She would be able to get close to people with less hostility again. It was something that was priceless to Xione and Khana.

Setsuya shrugged lightly, Lueria tightening slightly around his neck. "You guys need to be able to communicate. If he doesn't have a voice, then how can you guys communicate?" He asked, Lueria quietly taking in the conversation bit by bit. He did have to admit it though... That creature is rather cute. That tiny, little curious rodent nose was adorable, even if it made Lueria want to swallow it up. "So what's his name?" Setsuya asked, finally stepping away from Nellie.

Emma just gave a shurg and grabbed her meal, sitting down at one of the sit. Even she had to admit that she the chairs were filthy. She grimace slightly but sat down anyway. She looked up to Xander, thinking baout how he hadn't had much. hardly anything to eat the last couple of days "Are you sure your feeling alright?" she asked, concerned. She didn't know if he could get sick but she was still worried, three days. She began to eat her food as she waited for his response.

"Ya, that was her name." Ezvar said quietly, he could feel his chest tightening put with pain. "What does her name matter? She's dead and it's my fault I didn't protect her, I should-" he cut off, realizing his voice nearing its cracking point and that some of his pain was visable. He took a deep breath, struggle to keep it from shuddering, he didn't want to look soft. "Besides I got the a** who did it back." He snapped, trying to cover up what he had said earlier.

Xione frowned a little, looking up at Ezvar, but there was a bit of relief in her eyes. "I use to know her. She brought me a little food every two days a while back." She said, surprised that a girl as nice as Abby dated a guy like... Ezvar. "I can't believe that you were her boyfriend!" She said brightly, her eyes widening a little. She was upset that she had been shot though. It might have been tragic, but feeling bad about it now wouldn't bring her back. Besides, Ezvar already avenged her.

Ezvar glared up at her "Thanks, that makes me feel a lot better." he hissed but then he looked back down, thinking about how much he had changed after Abby's death "Times were... different back then." he thought about Abby, she was the only person who had bothered to care about the familyless boy who was thrown in jail every six weeks. She had changed him for a time, she had got him to go back to school, to get a job, stay out of jail for an entire year but when she died things became worse than when they had started out. He looked down at his shoes, he didn't care what everyone thought of him as long as the thoughts weren't refelcted onto Abby.

"Yeah, I'm fine." In truth, Xander wasn't fine. Something was making him unable to eat, there was some stupid driving force that wanted him to go do something. He wasn't sure what it was, or why he even cared about it. Xander didn't think anything was really missing in his life that he needed to 'go find'. He wasn't sleeping, wasn't eating, and was getting overly angry about things. What is happening to me? Xander hoped it didn't go on for much longer,and Emma would not know about this. He knew she would go crazy with worry, and Xander didn't want that to happen, she had enough to deal with when he was normal.
