Hi. I am Thornes.

I have been a member of CS since October 15th 2015 and have ever since been actively trying for a complete pet collection. I think, in the end, I would have never gotten as far as I got without the help of the loving CS community and even to this day I am still thankful for everyone's help.

I was born in Decmeber 31st, making me a Capricorn. I've always been someone who tries really hard to achieve waht she wants and if I really do want something, I will never really give up. My parents have always highly valued my determination, for it has dragged me through highschool (which was really tough for me) and brought me to where I am now. I am currently an university student and this takes up a lot of my time, so if I happen to disappear for a few days, that is probably the reason.

I believe gifting is one of the best things on this site. I think over the course of the years I have sent out hundreds, if not a thousand, gifts to other users and I'm pretty sure I've received a large part of it back from the wonderful and kind CS userbase. Trading sometimes gives me anxiety, so please be sure that when trading me I can take some time to respond, although I try to always reply to trades.

My Collection Story

I'm pretty sure my collection mania all started when I saw the Collection Discussion Thread. When I first signed up and didn't know what to do, I decided to add all pets in the archive on my wishlist, which, were a lot, considering I didn't have any pets yet! I think that's where I decided that one day, I wanted a complete CS pet collection.

Ever since 2016, however, the collection that has been most important to me would be my Store Pet Collection. Many of my favorite pets where store pets and I always dreamed of owning every single one of them. Over the years, I lost hope many times, but on the 5th of May 2019 someone finally managed to motivate me completely and I decided to work hard for it. On 8th of August 2019 I was able to complete it!

However, this isn't where my story of collecting will end. I still want that complete CS pet collection and I've re-added all pets I am missing to my WL, ready to decrease it as much as I possibly can! Hoping to one day, maybe, still fullfill my major CS dream!

I'm pretty sure collecting has always been a huge part of my life. Even as a child I loved collecting rocks, seashells and whatnot. And even now, I find so much joy in ticking off pets I've collected from my wishlist! It's the best feeling to see those numbers decrease and decrease and decrease and I think that is really what fuels how much I like to collect.

Hi! I put this here mainly for personal purposes, because I sometimes love to look back at the gifts I've sent and see where the pets ended up. Gifting is a part of Chickensmoothie that I highly enjoy, especially when I see how just some pixels can actually bring a smile on someone's face and make their day. I try to send out a gift at least once in a while, to bring forth the kindness that has been given to me as well. If you see this, and you somehow feel inspired to gift, just go find some random user or some user you think deserves/needs a little gift and spread the kindness as well! It's what makes CS so amazing!

I cannot possibly describe how happy I felt when I finally completed this. After so many years of working hard on it and even at some point giving up on it, I finally managed to find the motivation to work hard and put all my effort into this, and oh boy, how it paid off! Please, if you are out there trying to collect these pets, or any pets at all, do not give up! Don't let demand or hard-to-trade pets bring you down, it is still possible to follow your dreams and complete them!

I'm not going to lie, I gave up on this part of my dream a lot of times before and it's definitely going to be hard to complete it still, but having completed my store pet collection, has definitely given me the motivation to work for this as well. If I can complete that, I can surely achieve this as well! I'm ready to work hard for it and I can't wait to see my WL decrease to such a point that there's only just a few more left to go! Please keep in mind that I did not add special releases pets to this! They are a separate collection in my opinion.
