{Blagh, this is such a short post. I'll make it longer next time, promise. V__V}
Chex watched Mayia turn towards the door, shaking. He brought himself off his knees after placing a few coins in his pockets and headed turned towards her curiously. The girl had her sleeve over her face, as if she had smelt something foul.
"What's up?" He asked. He honestly didn't care at all what might happen to her but she was magic and that made her valuable enough to keep alive in his mind. He eyed her carefully for a response as Clara spoke of a watch. Honestly the whole dead body on the floor sickened him, he didn't want to sleep in the same building as that... thing, and so he turned to respond.
"I'll take first watch... if that's okay with you guys. I prefer sleeping without a corpse nearby," he smiled wryly as a movement caught his eye. Vethro had pulled himself upright. Chex didn't turn to face him, though, for if he was okay... he was okay. Mayia spoke, stuttering. He didn't care if she stayed or not but he didn't want someone so unstable-looking to watch over them, but Clara was right. They needed to stay together.
"How about if someone goes somewhere, another has to go with them. Like when you're partners?" He suggested, grasping for a compromise.

Mayia averted her eyes from the others as well as the unsightly corpse on the floor. "I don't need someone helping me... " She said, taking the other staff from her back and used it to help her move along with the second staff she held. She manuevered around the others, her handkerchief nearly falling from its place over her mouth and nose. Thankfully, she got out of the room just in time. She had a powerful enough scent of blood getting crammed up her nose. She didn't need any more driving her to the point of insanity. She was getting dizzy, but she wanted to get out of here and to somewhere a little more private... Somewhere that she could meet up with Hunter rather than let these... people try to help her. They were just allies. They weren't her friends. She couldn't bring herself to call them friends.

After a moment of rest, Mayia resumed her stuggle, making it to the stairs and stumbling down them. She was able to keep slight balance, but she had to stop halfway because of her vision. Everything was slurring together. She couldn't bring herself to keep moving forwards and ended up sitting on the stairs with her eyes closed to wait out the strange flurries of colours that merged before her eyes.

Vethro Belomondore

"He tried to attack me. Well, he did attack me." Vethro stated. It was the only fact. Vethro didn't know who the 'farmer' was, where he came from, or who he worked for - he just knew that the man had been following them and plotting to kill each of his guildmembers.
Vethro staggered of his bed, which had been cleaned of blood. He walked over to the dead man and heaved him onto his shoulder. He walked to the window, opened it, and threw the dead corpse out of the tavern.
Then, the fresh air came in. It cleaned the room, and the smell of death that had lingered now dissolved into the wide expanse of sky. His quarters smelled fresh and new. The blood was gone, for now.

[size=85]Daeron

"Are you insane?" Daeron yelled. "Throwing a body out a window?" He lowered his voice and sighed. "I'll go take care of it. The last thing we need is someone coming to investigate."
Striding out of the room, he quickly over took Mayia. Without stopping, he ran into the courtyard. Fortunately, no one was in sight. He quickly dragged the 'farmer's' body into the stable. Grabing a pitchfork, he frantically heaped hay over it. When he was finished he slumped on top. Now he had only to think of a plan.

Chex shrugged at Mayia exit the room. If she said she was okay, then who was he to cross her judgement? He sat down, leaned against the wall, and slid down until he sat upon the wooden floor. Standing was too much of a trouble when there was no need and anyway, billhooks could be used in close range or long ranged combat, he had nothing to worry about for the moment. Even so his hands stroked the metal blade of his weapon, just in case. It was doubtful that they wood be attacked in such closed quarters while they were still together but you could never be sure. His ice blue eyes darted quickly between the door and the window, they were the only two openings he could see. That was bad and good, only two places to watch for invaders but only two escape routes. Luckily Vethro's voice shook him out of the dark, sullen thoughts.
Chex listened to Vethro's explanation and laughed quietly. Well it was obvious that his comrade had been attacked, he was sure the wound proved that. He glanced at the injury, face twisting in disgust. Sure he'd had a lot of blood spilled himself but seeing cuts and gashes on the living always unnerved him. Memories he wanted to be forgotten always resurfaced as he saw them. Family members being killed, the pitiful face of his little sister in pain, all those horrid things he wanted buried for good.
Instead of commenting on the obvious statement, though, he watched Vethro hurl the body out the window, amused. Unwillingly, a smirk crossed his face. It wasn't everyday you watched a man throw another man through a square opening after all.
"Classy," Chex murmured, clapping his hands together in an applause, "I bet nobody will react strangely to seeing a bloody corpse in the middle of the street. Nope. Perfectly normal." The sarcasm drifted off his words as he gave a grin at Vethro, showing that it was all in good fun.

Elenwen shook her head, there wasn't any good plan for getting rid of the body. Gyspsies, if they were attacked it was always they who were acused for it. One of the first things she had learned was how to incinerate a body. She raised an eyebrow and watched as Daeron dashed out of the room. She looked around, glade that the stench was gone, Angrywell stopped even its slightest resistance. She leaned against a back wall, a devilish smile on her face "Looks like things are getting interesting already."

{Guys, I'm afraid I've been under-educated in the whole 'disposing of bloody corpses' line. Daeron assured me he had it under control, however. He never mentioned he didn't have a plan.}

{ Tell him to burn it. Easiest way. Or eat it if you can handle the odor :] Maybe you should come back to the tavern and re-throw it out the window? :D }

((Cut the body to ribbons XD Just kidding, I go with burning it :3))

.:.Clara Louise Golding of Albava.:.

Life is a story - just survive long enough to see its happy ending...

Clara bit her tongue, resisting the urge to scold her guild-mates on tossing the dead body out of the window. That won't give away anything at all... she thought bitterly, shaking her head ever so slightly. The last thing that she wanted to happen was to be found out by the Royal Guard. They wouldn't take all too kindly to seeing her, this was something that Clara knew for sure.

She quit on them, after all, during an important mission. They were probably hunting her down; there were probably wanted posters of her around. But she didn't pay attention to any of those posters. No one had compared her to them yet, and she doubted that they ever would.

With concern in her eyes, she stared after Mayia, and winced as she heard thumping down the stairs. She was worried about the magic-user; if someone had attacked Vethro, someone could attack Mayia as well. For all she knew, there was a group watching over the guild's every move, waiting to attack. She could be next. This "farmer" was only the first of many attacks.

Such a great Trayrian Eve... She thought, huffing out a sigh. She half-listened to Vethro's story of what happened; usually she wouldn't have done something like that, but she was so wrapped up in her own thoughts about her past that she barley heard his explanation of what happened. She had a pretty good idea of it, after all. The "farmer" attacked him, and he tried to defend himself, killing the enemy and nearly himself in the process. That made sense to her, at least.

When Chex offered to take the first watch, she wasn't sure whether to be relieved or not. She couldn't fall asleep; too many thoughts were popping up in her head; there were too many unanswered questions, and too much paranoia existed in the atmosphere. What the young sword-user really wanted to do at the moment was get some fresh air and enjoy the festival raging outside. Nothing like this existed in Albava; everything here was all so new to her, and she wanted to experience every bit of it. But now they were so close to being discovered. They would have to go on the run once again, camping out in the middle of absolutely no where.

Squeezing her eyes shut, she stepped out into the doorway; the scent of blood was starting to make her go busy. She wouldn't run off like Mayia - not yet, at least. Unless something really crazy happened, she would just stay in the Inn. She would stay with her guild members. She would be safe with them.

That's what they were...protection...she was safe with them...
