Personality; As a child, Natsuki was a very bright and eager child, but after the loss of her parents, she became cold and distant. She’s often found alone in the library or training fields practicing to be the best. Others often see her as stuck up, because she often gets high marks and sees anything less than first place as worthless. However, she behaves in such a way because she finds herself responsible for the loss of her parents and tries hard to prove to herself that her survival was worth it. She’s not as flirtatious as some of her kind are known to be, but she does easily fall in love.
History; Once, kitsune would gain their ninth tail after reaching 1,000 years old, becoming powerful celestial creatures. Now, they’re lucky to reach their first century due to high demand from magic users and hunters alike. Their kitsunebi pearls and silky fox tails fetch a large price in underground markets because of their excellent use in creating magical items and weapons. Natsuki’s parents were lucky, by constantly moving around and hiding, they were able to live long enough to gain their fifth tails, as well as produce their young daughter. However, such luck did not last long, and in one dreadful night, the young fox spirit lost both of her parents. Eventually, she stumbled upon Red Moon University, the first place she ever felt safe at.

physical attributes evangeline isn't your most athletically built person. she's average built, bearing no six pack or muscles. she's not sickly thin but is by no means thick either, like i said, average. freckles dot her cheeks, nose, and shoulders. her hair is a dark frizzy mess and is either in a ponytail or down. naturally wavy near the ends she tends to use a flatiron on her hair to straighten it out. her lips seemed to be constantly chapped and cracking since she has a habit of chewing on them. she walks with a bit of a slouch and would probably look taller if not for it. evangeline wears glasses as well, black ray-bans. on her right index finger she wears a simple gray ring, the only jewelry she wears. protruding from either side of the top of her head are two small horns, pale auburn in color, curving slightly to the left or right depending on which side of her head one is on, only a few inches long, and etched into them are shallow lines going around in a circle. short now they will grow larger over time and as she grows stronger. tough opaque scales, dark red in color dot her body. these scales can be found clustered around her elbows, thinning out further up and down her arms, around the nape of her neck, spread about her back, on the backside of her hands and fingers, along the side of her ribcage and partly on her abdomen, thinly spread out across the back of her legs and on her feet, clustered on her knees much like her elbows and thinning across her legs, as well as along the bridge of her nose and under her eyes. she has retractable claws that spread from her fingernails too. finally evangeline has a pair of wings that sprout from between her shoulder blades. the wings are red just like the patches of scales on her body, resemble that of a bats. small ivory colored stumps shaped like a blunt cones replace where the finger would be on a bats wing.

abilities shifting; the first power that eva has is the ability to shift into an actual dragon, either of her own will or involuntarily. she is only able to shift into a dragon voluntarily a few times a week for shifting takes a large toll on her, expending her energy quickly, thus only being able to be in such form for a few hours at best. to involuntarily shift evangeline must find herself in the presence of the element she is affiliated with, which in this case is fire. being around natural fire (aka fire not created by fire element users) allows her to shift seamlessly and without the expense of her energy. when this happens she can shift more often and for a longer duration. her dragon form is of a dragon with tough, red scales, small horns atop her head, forest green eyes, and is about the size of a small car.

personality upon first glance evangeline is your typical quiet type, avoiding conversations and interactions at all costs. she's a background character most of the time, even in her own life, not piping up about much and not voicing her opinions. since she's not the best conversationalist she won't speak unless spoken to or if she knows you well enough to get up in your business. being a background character can have its advantages. undetected by most she can easily stand by and listen in on conversations, which she actually enjoys because people watching is a pastime hobby of hers. but she's also grown quite observant because of this as well. she takes in every little thing about her surroundings and the people in them, not exactly analyzing every bit but just getting to know what's going on. however being more reclusive also has its disadvantages. evangeline isn't very open with her emotions and thoughts. she holds back a lot of what's going on in her head. she doesn't want to burden people with her emotions and bottles it up most of the time. nor will she speak out about her opinions if she finds that an idea or problem can be tweaked or fixed. she rather allow the more outspoken or smarter people take command. it may take a while for evangeline to actually open up about the many thoughts running rampant in her head. that's her biggest problem, she's always stuck up in her head worrying over many things. cursed with anxiety she finds something to fret over easily, being more on the pessimistic side of things. to her the cons far outweigh the pros most of the time. she can find something wrong within every situation she finds herself in and it can be mentally draining for her. when in a bad mood she may be snappy because of this, making snide comments and being more rude than she typically is. (which can be troubling because evangeline is very passive most of the time) because evangeline likes to find the good and bad in everything she can be very indecisive at times, taking a long while to come to a decision, and even then she may rethink her choice soon after. she really likes to take her time and think things out, though when she has very little time to make a choice she typically choses the wrong one. this is especially true in her choice of friends. always she finds herself in a toxic relationship and doesn't realize this until it's too late, and in the end she gets hurt. most don't realize this about evangeline (because she's always in the background) but she's a good person with a big heart. she gives people too many chances to redeem themselves and gets walked over. but her one goal in life is to find a truly good friend whom she can confide in and trust. she's stubborn and strong willed though and won't stop until she finds herself that friend.

history evangeline was born to two human parents, rodger and kelly summers, and had an older sister named evelyn. growing up eva had quite a normal childhood, living in the suburbs of a city. a happy go-lucky child evangeline was your average elementary student with a group of friends she would play with in and out of school. however as evangeline grew older and entered middle her friends separated into different cliques while evangeline was stuck, unable to create new friends like her so had. this left eva with a toxic friend who didn't much care for her, janet. often using evangeline as an emotional dumping ground this girl gave no thought to eva's own feelings, thoughts, or opinions. being the only other person to talk to evangeline, though, eva kept herself close to janet, often going over to her house or following her around the school or playground. in eva's eyes they were best friends, never noticing the fact that janet dismissed eva whenever she spoke up, ignore her opinions, or simply use her. it wasn't until a few years later did eva begin to notice such behaviors, though much too late. too scared to confront her only friend about the toxicity in fear of losing her, evangeline kept her mouth shut, taking on the abuse. things only got worse during those years when evangeline began noticing janets behavior. janet would ignore eva for days on end, hanging out with other girls in the meantime. on her own evangeline would wonder what she had done wrong and why her friend hated her so much. with not much social skill and too anxious to approach others and attempt making new friend evangeline instead would go back to janet, pleading with her to talk with her once again, even offering gifts to regain janet's friendship. this went on for a while before evangeline had had enough. she had enough crying herself to sleep each night, she had enough bottling up her feelings, she had enough of being ignored. one day at the bus stop evangeline marched up to janet and let it all out. she told janet off, yelling at her, cutting her off from interrupting herself when she spoke, disowning her as a friend and declaring her independence from janet. by now she was a freshman in high school, and that day after leaving janet, evangeline found herself with a new friend that she shared a few classes with. this girl, named sarah, introduced eva to others who accepted her into their group. for once she saw what it was like to have friends who appreciated her company, actually listening to her and taking into account her feelings. it was hard learning to open herself up to the group, but she eventually did.
one day senior year while walking her dog along a trail in the woods evangeline found herself standing before dragon, completely by mistake at that. stitch, her dog, had managed to break free from eva's grasp and went running into the woods, barking and growling at something. chasing after the hound eva found herself off the trail and utterly lost as she followed the dogs barks. the trees grew thicker ad evangeline found herself in unfamiliar territory. finally finding stitch eva also found the dragon skulking through the trees. a large, red, male dragon who eyed her down. fight and flight quickly kicked in and she chose freeze. stitch barked at the creature, the dragon huffing back, smoke emitting from his nostrils. it was the first time evangeline had ever met anyone that wasn't human, at least to her knowledge. her parents were often quite phobic of non-humans even though they said they weren't, usually making comments and remarks without a thought. evangeline, however, thought that inhumans are treated wrongly and were in favor of them, actually quite jealous of them for having powers and mutations. her dream of having her own powers were granted that day when she met the dragon. he was surprised that she stood her ground, albeit quite shaky, as most would flee or attack him. while he circled her he questioned her, evangeline stuttering out answers as she turned to watch him watching her. after chatting with the dragon she gained his favor, granting her there in the forest powers and mutations. the change was sudden and unexpected. it changed her whole life. she went home that day trying to hide herself, but it was inevitable. her family found out. while her sister was enthusiastic and supportive her parents were tentative to the change, but eventually did accept that their daughter now was no longer human and trying their best to be less phobic of inhumans. with her newfound powers eva had to change schools as she worried for her life now in a college of opinionated humans. she had to quit her job and figure out how to hide her mutations. she's still adjusting to the change and learning to cope.

physical attributes the most prominent attribute about oscar is that he has a prosthetic arm. his left hand and forearm are an advanced experimental prosthetic. the prosthetic is made from a high grade plastic that is colored white. the palm, underside of the fingers and arm is black however and act as touch receptors and mimic skin so he can use touchscreens and other electronics. the inner mechanisms of the prosthetic allow the arm, wrist, and fingers to move smoothly and naturally. how they move is another thing. the way the arm works is movements of the upper arm, shoulder and chest are captured by the harness and cable system, and used to open and close the hand. the hand doesn't always do as oscar wants it to do which can frustrate him, but thankfully her can shut off or even remove the prosthetic if needed. not to mention his right had is in working condition. he tends to wear long sleeves and gloves to hide his prosthetic. he also tends to do the robot with the arm because he likes to joke he's a cyborg with it.

abilities force field; oscars ability is to create and manipulate force fields. he is able to create two to three force fields at once, though one is much more manageable. they're translucent and a faint purple in color. dome shaped and strong the force field can take a beating but at oscars own expense. it takes a lot of energy to keep up a field, especially a large one. he keeps the force fields small, usually only able to surround one person, aka himself. not only can he make a force field with his power but he can make hand held shields, form a force field into a wall, or he uses his favorite and most frequented trick. he calls it a sonic boom and it happens when oscar charges off a force field from his body. the field makes a loud, earsplitting popping noise just like a sonic boom. energy surges through the air and can knock people off of their feet, shatter glass, and shake the ground. he can also create and localize a sonic boom with his hands. by using his hands he can create the sonic boom between his palms and shoot it off toward his target like a projectile.

personality oscar is a chill dude. he's laid back and goes with the flow. he's not much of a planner and honestly probably has no idea what a calendar is. he's a friendly guy and is typically all smiles. he's an approachable person and enjoys a conversation. he likes to talk about anything and everything and so any conversation with him will bounce around from one random topic to the next. he is a talker and it shows. though he knows when to shut up and let other speaks. he doesn't want to take the whole spotlight. in fact oscar doesn't typically take credit for his right doings. he stays anonymous and prefers it that way. sure, it's annoying when someone takes claim to his hard work, but he sees it as there being nothing he can do about it. oscar is compliant this way, which isn't always the best. he accepts things as they are and never really tries to change it, even if it bothers him. he won't go out of his way to start a fight or fix what is wrong. it is what it is he says. oscar is a bit of an absentminded person. he's quite forgetful and isn't good at following through with promises. he spaces out quite a bit and thus misses bits of conversation and information said to him. he tries to make sure he listens to every conversation the whole way through, though to be honest he gets bored fast and will blank out to something on his mind that interests him more. not only that but he misplaces things a lot. once he lost his sunglasses only to find they were on his head the whole time. he puts things in the most obscure places and when the time comes that he needs that item he's forgotten where it is. he's a messy guy and cleanliness isn't his top priority. yes he showers, but no he doesn't clean the dishes or pick up after himself. his roommates hate him. he's clumsy too, always dropping or knocking things over and making a bigger mess. he's quick to act though. very adaptable when needed his mindset can change from being sluggish to working overtime in just a moment.

history oscar is the son of bryce and mildred henderson, both middle class workers just getting by with what they needed instead of what they wanted. he had an average upbringing. he went to school, had a close group of friends that he hung out with, his parents loved him even though they didn't so much love each other. his life was pretty normal, that is until he was five and his little sister came around. it was clear something was off with her, that's probably because she was quite literally a demon child. two tiny humps on either side of her forehead signified horns that would soon grow, a small tail that much resembled a lions tail with fluff at the end, and anything she touched with her hands stuck to her. his father wanted to get rid of the child but his mother refused to let anything happen to her newborn. the nurses and doctors at the hospital who cared for mildred and little olivia said nothing about the mutations, pretending that nothing was wrong with the baby even though they were terrified of what she might become. when she was brought home his parents fought about what to do with olivia. his father wanted to leave her in the hands of child services but his mother refused to abandon her child. his parents tended to fight a lot over many things, some practical and others impractical, and that night oscar held his baby sister in his arms, rocking her to sleep as his parents fought, screaming at one another a few rooms over. no, oscar wouldn't't allow anything to happen to his little sister.
as they grew up together olivia was kept out of sight while oscar continued with his normal childhood. she wasn't allowed out of the house during the day and her parents had told everyone they knew that their second child had died due to complications after birth. whenever company came over she had to hide in oscars bedroom, which also doubled as her bedroom. oscar hated that his sister was treated so poorly, but as a kid his opinion meant nothing to his parents, and he was forbidden to mention his sister to anyone. because of this oscar grew close to his sister, becoming her only friend. oscar would ditch his own friends to hang out with his sister instead. they would go camping in their bedroom, building a pillow fort and hiding underneath it, pretending they were in the woods. they would run around the house playing tag, or don't touch the floor, or be pirates, letting their imaginations run wild. they would draw and paint together. when he was ten oscar asked his mother if the family could go to the park for lunch, including his sister, his father had a fit and yelled at him for even thinking of showing his hideous sister to the world. so that night olivia and oscar devised a plan to get her out of the house. quite simple, after his parents went to bed they would sneak out and oscar would bring her to wherever she wanted to go and stay out until the sun rose. so that's exactly what they did. in the quiet of the night they ran into the darkness and went walking around town. they went around town and oscar showed her everything there was to see from the park to his school to the shops and stores that were around. they spoke about the stars and what could be out there. they were never caught, come morning they were back home and no one suspected a thing. that's oscars fondest memory, he was fifteen at the time.
his worst memory came weeks later when him, his sister, his mother, and father were driving to a secluded cabin in the woods for summer vacation for his sisters tenth birthday. she wanted to see the world and so his mother decided they could go stay in a cabin for a few weeks. olivia rode in the backseat next to her brother, slumped down an out of view of the tinted windows. even though the windows were tinted their parents made her stay out of view. sitting behind the drivers seat oscar was having horrid time. his parents were fighting about directions and how to get to the cabin. the gps was bringing them around in circles, his mother had proposed stopping and asking for help, his father didn't like that idea. they were screaming loudly, oscar had his hands over his ears as he timidly watched his parents. his father, the one driving, turned to face his mother and his mother did the same. neither would listen to the other, each wanted to be heard so their voices grew louder and louder. oscar couldn't stand it anymore. screaming out "shut up!" something happened. his voice grew louder and louder even after he had said the words. surprised his father jerked the wheel of the car, sending the vehicle over the guard rail of the road and tumbling down a hill. the car flipped over several times, the metal crunching, the windows shattering, and everything went dark and silent.
when oscar woke up he saw a horrid scene before him. the car was on its left side. his mother hung lifelessly in the passenger seat, his father groaning and cussing in the drives seat. from outside of the car oscar could hear his sister freaking out, calling for him and asking if he was okay. sirens were closing in and before he could respond she told him that she loved him and to find her at the cabin. that was the last he has ever heard from her. oscar himself found himself stuck. when the car had went over the edge he had grabbed onto the door handle to have something to hold onto. the door had opened, his hand slipped, and the door shut again with his arm in the opening. the doctors had told him the bone had shattered beyond repair and there was complications with installing a metal bone replacement, his forearm was amputated. after the accident living with his father was a nightmare. his mother was dead and sister nowhere to be found, and with the realization that oscar had powers his father wanted nothing to do with him. so when he turned eighteen his father kicked him out.
