He listened and thought about what she was saying "do you think we could maybe make another prey storage? for the worst time of the winter? And luckily we only have one kit to take care of, as long Ravenwatcher and Creamflower don't start to bring some offsprings...for now it could be way too dangerous" he said to her.

With a nod of agreement, Eaglegaze sat, curling his thin tail around his paws. "I don't see why you wouldn't get an apprentice when the next round of kits comes to that age... Who knows, there might be more kits soon and you would definitely have a chance then." He commented, a joking hint to his tone. He remembered seeing Creamflower and Ravenwatcher together and knew that there was a likely chance for more kits in the future. As a medicine cat he would advise them against it as the weather became cooler, but that wasn't his decision to make.

"well thank you, that's kind of the first time that I've been called cute." the tom paused, then added, "well maaayyybbbe not the first time, but most of the times where I've been called cute is mostly in a mocking way by my sister." he mewed, chuckling to himself as he recalled the times when his sisters teased him by calling him cute, which almost always elicit a round of playful fighting in the camp.

Holding Nightholly's gaze, Eaglgaze replied after a moment. "Why wouldn't you?" he asked curiously. He paused and realized after a moment that he was staring at her still, and quickly broke his gaze. "You are more than qualified even without an apprentice, and I'm sure that Spiritstar knows that. If you simply aren't interested, then I wouldn't try to force you." Adding a small smile as he spoke, he lifted the conversation a little. Not wanting to seem too interested he gave the fur on his chest a few licks to smooth them down before returning his gaze to his black and white companion, seeking to know if she was still focused on him.
