Me: ok @tarkeli since i don't want to double post, does your pup have open or closed eyes rn? alternatively, would your pup better blend in near a volcano or on the ocean floor?

Tark: I like the second question. Volcano. Above water. But he likes visiting his friends under the ocean waves.
Eyes are open presently.

me: does he have no flames to be taken out or lava cooled if he goes friend visiting?

tark: I’d like to think he’s a bit reptilian (???) or maybe like a cat. He’s akin to a volcano but when he goes underwater he cools and then when he comes back on land he warms up again.
I dunno. He likes both land and sea. Lol

Tark I believe this mayhaps be yours because:
1. - The horns make my mind go to dragons and dragony = reptiley and you said 'a bit reptilian (???)'
2. - It looks like he has fiery patterns and has very fiery coloring, and you said he is quite hot and cools down underwater, and the dark could also be like... cooled lava?
3. - Firey pattern can also relate to the name which has to do with demon fire
4. - Has a suspicious firey patch on its snoot, which could also match with the 'mouth of the volcano' with the name also being able to mean volcano?
5. - Has open eyes

I'm not sure, since tark said they won't be back for an hour. But I did ask if I could guess two pups and they said: 'But pick one so it’s easier on me.'

Here's another theory of mine!


"Eyes are open presently."
Keyword is "Presently"! This pup's eyes seem wide open due to the marking on the eyebags.

"My pup has/will have something in common with my pup from last year."
Same floppy ear design and curled tail. (at least on the still growing stage)

Eye design (eye whites are red and eye color yellow) looks reptilian to me!

Sadly i can't associate any of the other hints with him, so i didn't think this through. Again!

Tarkeli's pup? This fellow:

Why?

Hint 1: Has/Will Have something in common with last year's pup.

Last year's pup has a curled tail, as does this one. Only 2 have this so far, making it a reasonable hint.

Hint 2: Choice between nature and man-made. I believe that connects to the whole volcano lava thing.

Hint 3: This pup hadn't grown yet when this was posted, aka it was still sleeping.

Hints 6-9 relate to the name Ahi Tipua aka Demon Fire/Volcano. This makes the pup an obvious choice with the lava tail/mouth drip. Also, the post about it being connected to Hawaii. Hawaii = Volcanos.

My last reason is that tarkeli stated that it would blend in better with a volcano. I could see that with not only the lava, but the color blending in with lava rock as well. For reptilian/cat-like I'm a bit lost, but hoping it will become more apparent. Maybe the eyes/mouth?
