Tark’s pup’s name:

Using tark’s hints, we know the first part of their pup’s name is Ahi. I figured out the second part has to do with something hot because a beach is hot (Forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4157117&start=720#p126797380). From there I thought about it having to lava which made me think of volcanoes. Catmother456 thought of Hawaii (Forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=4157117&start=730#p126797801) to which later left an edit with a fish on the post meaning that we were on the right track.

From there, I figured out with tark’s hint from today with having to do with an island in the southern hempisphere that tark was referring to New Zealand.

The Polynesians were from Hawaii, Samoa, and New Zealand. The Polynesian language in New Zealand is Maori. The word Ahi in Maori means fire which is something hot and according to most creation narratives, Maui obtained fire from Mahuika. The power of fire was recognized and sacred fires were associated with the tohunga and the tapu of tuahu and with rituals.
There were certain letters that would not be in the second word (a different hint stated that): O, N, and G hence I had to keep that in mind. Tohunga couldn’t be the word so I tried tapu. When I typed ahi tapu into google, I came up with sacred fire which technically would be a man-made fire hence it couldn’t be tapu. However, if you change the spelling of the word to tipua, you would get ahi tipua which is a demon fire, but can also mean volcano.

This means tark’s pup’s name is Ahi Tipua which means that their pup will most likely represent a fire demon or a volcano.

I’m also going to take the guess that based on the current outcomes that this pup’s is tark’s:

I did think of that one, but the tail reminds me more of a tadpole. I was thinking that one would turn into a frog or a lizard.
