The corner of Hotei’s mouth turned upward at Lila’s wide eyes. “What, you use your charms on a teacher or something to get yourself a perk or two?” He accused half-jokingly, not exactly knowing if she had but not putting it past her. He gave an amused sniff before raising a hand to wave the incident off. “Kidding, it’s the main event board talking about the dance... it seems like a pretty long message for one though, so there’s bound to at least be one person who ignored it.” As he spoke, the demon clicked over to the door and peered out, glaring at the falling rain before returning to the side of the hallway that had a bench and sitting down on one side.
The redhead’s eyes flickered over to Lila as she agreed with him, resting his elbow on the armrest and his chin on his knuckles. The other’s voice was more friendly than it had been before, though Hotei couldn’t pinpoint exactly why. Was there a different voice for flirting via the use of her powers? Hotei blinked thoughtfully at her, his expressionless features moving to a teasing grin once he raised her eyebrows in response. The look he gave back to her was a somewhat innocent one, though his eyes seemed to say, “you
did start it.”
The next look he was graced with was more calculating. It was easy to guess what it was about though, after what he had just said. With his free arm, he positioned it like he was presenting himself on stage (as much as one could while sitting down). “If you can guess what it is first try, then I’ll go a bit easier on you.” The man promised with a wink. Hopefully his comment about finding playing with emotions “too cruel” threw her off, since that would be surprising coming from a demon. On the other hand, he very much resembled the fire he commanded and there were few other heat-related options. Perhaps it was a mistake to say that.
He shook it off though when his challenge was accepted. He cracked his knuckles in preparation, a confident smirk having replaced the sweet grin. In reality, he... hardly had any flirting experience, so he hoped his attitude was enough to depend on. “Aww, a compliment as sweet as that might just make my heart melt.” Hotei retaliated, placing his hand on his chest for a more dramatic effect. At the possible offer for her name, the fire demon mocked a cute disappointment. “Princess, making it that easy will give us less time to spend together though... besides, I kind of wanted to tell you mine first...” In a flash his false demeanour had changed to someone who was far less bold than moments before. Now, Hotei was mimicking his own flustered actions under Lila’s spell on a less extreme scale- he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly and glanced away shyly.

Theo stood at the edge of the town he was in, narrowing his eyes as he popped open a can of a Cola drink, standing casually as he took a sip. The hand that wasn’t holding the drink was in his coat pocket, fingers twisted comfortably around the handle of an antique pistol.
The hunter had arrived at the news that there had been sightings of the supernatural and now he was here to investigate. Now, though, he saw nothing. The rain that was falling on his shoulders didn’t seem to sway him even a little, though the weather did obstruct the field he was looking through. He didn’t know that that field was the very site of the university, but had been finding himself returning to the place for an unknown reason. Perhaps the wooded area across the grasses held the hidden building, whatever it was. Apparently the rest of their team would show up to the town shortly.
In any case, Theo didn’t mind doing some research on his own time. For the moment though, he should get out of the rain. With a thoughtful hum The late teen whisked around dramatically and made his way to the nearest café he could finish his drink in.
