A name mashed of a few things I enjoy. 'Sky' dates back to someone I look up to and have for at least a small majority of my life, while the 'van' stands in for "Vance" which name means dweller of bogs and leaves my inspiration for her loving the water, then the 'arc' stands for the most import part in a character's life or story that I find quite important.
