She gets enough of relaxing around and started to get bored, so she stood up and gave a quick lick to her pelt, before looking around for something to do. Flicking her tail her eyes stopped into the nursery when she saw the tiny kit peeking out into there, sighing she made her way there "Hello Greenkit, nothing to do?" she meowed with a smile.

She sniffed the air when Nightholly asked her to tell what she smells, yes she did smell something familiar, she has smelled it into their camp many times, but she could not tell which prey it could be at. Flicking her ears at the two other cats "how can you tell which cat is friendly and who not? I know that our clanmates smell different than outsiders...but how to know if the stranger is mean one?" she asked confusedly. She turned her head down to take the smell of a mice Nightholly had just caught "this is mouse huh?" she meowed.

she nodded not really understanding what his powers were, but she didn't bother to ask about it anymore "Cool...so do you know if there are some dangerous powers?" she asked suddenly.

He gave a silent and careful watch over his leader when the she-cat caught a shrew "that was a good one, now you remember how to hunt right?" he said to her with a smile "so do you want to keep going to hunting more land animals or could we try some fish next?" she said to her, not looking at her when she got back with the dead prey.

After thinking for a moment, Eaglegaze responded. "Generally, all of the cats within the clan have a faint scent that is similar. It is hard to describe, but you would know if there were someone who wasn't in the clan lurking nearby. Since our sense of smell is much stronger than other cats, it would be a little shocking at first, as you might even be able to smell the different places they've been since plants smell different and your fur brushes against them. That is also why the both of us tend to smell like herbs while the others don't." His explanation seemed satisfactory to him and he was pleased with himself to be able to explain something like that on the spot. It made him feel wiser, like a medicine cat should be. "The mouse smell is familiar, and you can probably pick up the musky hints from being underground. The tang of blood is from where Nightholly killed it," he went on to say. With a glance at the black and white cat, he saw her inspecting her claws and he smiled faintly for a moment before turning back to Whitepaw. Sometimes he was glad that she couldn't see his expressions.

"honestly i wouldn't mind fishing, i think that'd be pretty cool and pretty different." the she-cat then noticed a bird perching over the branches. the she-cat had no intention of catching it or making it as her next meal, how much longer of warm weather can we get before leaf-bare gets here? she wondered to herself, feeling a chilly breeze ruffle through her fur. not much longer, better start stocking up the herbs and fresh-kill. hope greenkit would make it through the winter and be made apprentices.

"that is very true. for a warrior like ravenwatcher and I, we are not trained in identifying herbs or the details of the whereabouts of an object because we don't have heightened senses, but we are, at least, able to tell our own clanmates from others, and the location of the prey that we're looking for, and any other strange scents that we should be looking for, like foxes, badgers and other things." she mewed. "it comes with practice, just like how you can identify herbs by their scents."

indentnot knowing if the she-cat really understood what he meant, "basically im the guy who generates a force field or shield for the rest of the cats who happen to be around me," he mewed, not knowing how to further explain what his powers were. truth was, he never really used it at a longer periods of time so he wasn't sure what he could do with it, let alone how powerful it could be when it gave it his all. "no power that i know of at the moment is very strong, but i'd keep a look out for it."

She listened to the other cats, thoughtfully "so can I try to hunt something? maybe that odd smell I am smellign right now? It's not mice it doesn't smell the same..." she meowed trying to have some clues what it could be "I hear some wing slashing, could this scent belong to a bird?" she asked curiously.

she thought for her next question for a moment "is there being anyone who betrays the clan and uses its powers against Hiddenclan?"
she meowed starting to think more about the power thing "anyway, all the warriors have one power, right? then how leader, deputy and medicine cats have three powers? How do you get more powers if a warrior like you become a deputy and so on a leader someday?" she keeps questioning.

He looked to the way where the bird was being, wondering if the she-cat wanted to catch it "You could catch that one if you wanted to...our clan needs prey...and...uh, fishing is not the easiest hunting prey, either you catch some or then not...and sometimes they don't even show up" he said to her patiently. He wanted to give the she-cat a time to decide if she could go after the bird or they could walk into the stream to find some fish.

indentravenwatcher flashed the she-cat a smile, "yeah it'd be really nice for spiritstar to settle down, it isn't like we are still young or anything." he mewed, the tip of his tail twitching. he had always considered creamflower to be a great friend, but he didn't recall he had consider her to be a lover, or that someone he could settle down and have kits with. maybe not yet, but ravenwatcher knew that there will be a time for him to start thinking about family.

indentthe tom cocked his head to the side, "none that i know of, hiddenclan cats are generally very loyal and i'm pretty sure spiritstar wouldn't let us use our own power against our own unless it's for protection." the tom gave the question another thought, "actually i have absolutely no clue how do other cats get those power. i don't think they're born with all three but maybe they are given by starclan or wherever our ancestors are now resting."

Creamflower closes her eyes as she remembers settling down with kits of her own before losing them to greencough, her heart almost breaking in two. "My kits were my pride and joy, like a treasure that should never be lost." she said, reflecting how proud she felt having her first litter. "And when I lost them, it was like losing a part of myself. Losing a kit is worse and more painful than losing a parent Ravenwatcher. I know that from experience."

She lightly rolled her eyes at the kits words "of course...you hide I seek" she meowed turning her head elsewhere so she could not see where the kit was going, though she could found him by the smell, but for now she thought to be scentless and use only her eyes to look for him. She waited for a moment when thought that the kit likely found a hiding place, she watched around the camp near the nursery, thinking that the kit didn't get too far.

She did how Nightholly told her to do, making to her position, feeling how her belly tufts were touching the earth. She focused to the bird scent in front of her, realizing to feel the ground around her too for anything which could do some sounds, she heard that from some other apprentices, who was being practiced in camp "is this good? So will I just get closer and then attack the bird?" she meowed silently.

He looked at Spiritstar as the she-cat started to speak to a bird "you don't need to ask the bird about that? the weather and leaves could answer to your question" he said to her silently "the weather is colder longer into the dawn and the leaves are losing their bright colors, flowers are fading away and the grass is changing its colors..." he said, watching the forest around them "maybe a moon or a half?" he guessed.
