Greenkit paced around the nursery, every once and while looking out. "Camp is boooriinnng." He whined. "I wanna be an apprentice and have super-strength and superspeed and, and..." He murmured, seemingly to himself. "You know, you're right." He mumbled, sitting down, still looking outside in case something to his liking happened, ears twitching to the 'beat' of the earth.

After finding a large leaf to transport the marigold in, Eaglegaze set the parcel down at his paws and chirped a quick laugh as his stomach growled. "All this talk of mice reminded me that I may or may not have forgotten to eat this morning..." The medicine cat might have been good with reminding other cats of their injuries and memorizing what herbs did what, but his memory for common things really wasn't the best. It lead many to believe that he was a bit spacey but he didn't care, as long as it didn't become a problem. "If you would like, I can continue looking for the chamomile and then drop the herbs at camp while you two go have a little hunting lesson. It would be good for you Whitepaw," he offered pleasantly.

indentthe she-cat nodded and followed the tom, carefully mimickign the tom's stance and making sure her claws were gripping the earth. she followed the tom soundlessly, ears perked up to listen for any movements in the shrubs nearby. upon hearing the tom, she nodded and tasted the air. hopefully i won't lose a catch this time.

indent"so that's settled then!" the tom chirped, excited that he would get some time to spend with the she-cat he liked. he had always thought if he could really open up to the she-cat and perhaps there could be something more than just them liking each other. maybe, mates. the tom thought to himself, smiling widely as he felt heat creeping up his cheeks.

indent"oh, that." the tom mewed, "i actually have no idea, to be quite honest. i think it was just because we were given powers to protect ourselves and the clans around us. but as to why we are all given powers, and other cats don't, i have no clue. i mean i get it but at the same time that's not fair to those who doesn't have it. and who decides what power we get anyway?"

Creamflower smiles and gives Ravenwatcher a lick on the cheek, purring. "Great!" she said. "Lead the way then!" After losing her first mate, she cant lose this tom either. He gave her hope that she will find love again and she doesnt want to give that up.

indentthe tom blushed even harder when the she-cat gave him a lick on the cheek, "oh t-thank you," he whispered, unconsciously stammering a bit. finally managed to keep his cool, the tom then flashed the she-cat a smile before leading the way back to camp, mind filled with the fox pup that they came across earlier, the waterfall and his mysterious cave that he used to visit a lot, and finally, the cream-colored she-cat that he had grown to love and adore.

Creamflower follows Ravenwatcher back to camp, thinking about the adventure they had today. She knows the fox pups will be fine as long as they stay away from HiddenClan territory when older. The best part of that adventure was her doing it with the tom shes grown to love and adore.

Dipping his head in thanks, Eaglegaze replied; "No worries, I've got these. Whitepaw learning a few tricks for hunting might be good. A nice challenge for those super senses!" His tone had a feeling of warmth embedded throughout. Whitepaw might not be related to him by blood, but he cared deeply for his young apprentice and he knew that she had a lot of potential. Picking up the herbs, he flicked Nightholly's ear with his tail as he turned and padded into the trees. Now alone, it allowed him to focus more on his thoughts as he used his heightened sense of smell to pick out the remaining herbs that he needed. Shortly he came to where he needed to be, and realized that he faintly smelled his scent mixed with Nightholly's. Cursing under his breath he realized that he was where he started looking in the first place. Why was I so distracted? Its not like Nightholly was in the way... His thoughts were somewhat troubled as he picked some chamomile and added it to the marigold and carried it back to camp to organize the herbs in his den.

She gets enough of relaxing around and started to get bored, so she stood up and gave a quick lick to her pelt, before looking around for something to do. Flicking her tail her eyes stopped into the nursery when she saw the tiny kit peeking out into there, sighing she made her way there "Hello Greenkit, nothing to do?" she meowed with a smile.

She listened to the Nightholly, thoughtfully, flicking her ears over her mentor when he mentioned that she could learn some hunting skills "Really? thank you, Eaglegaze" she said to him with a purr "I would love to learn some hunting skills, even if I can't see I want to help my clan other ways too than just healing the wounds...even if that's important too..." she said happily.

she looked at her paws for a moment "I see...I was pretty jealous at first...when anyone else had cool powers and I was just an original cat without any powers" she said to him sighing. She pawed the ground for a while, flicking her ears over to Thundersnarl and Spiritstar as the two got to their own way "So...um what's your power? I've never seen you do anything?" she asked at him.

He stood still for a moment, only his ears flicking side to side, trying to locate the place the prey was, without doing any moves which could scare them away by accident. He make his move when he was sure where it was being hidden, getting down near some rock, staying still for a while, before he jumped and quickly catched the mice, which didn't even know being watched at.

indentspiritstar watched the tom as he crouched behind a rock in anticipation, smiling when the tom caught a mouse. "speedy, i like that." the she-cat mewed, now eager to try it out herself. she opened her jaw and tasted the air, noticing a shrew near the roots of a nearby tree. not missing a beat, the she-cat crouched down and slowly crept towards the tree, making sure her belly was brushing the ground and her claws were gripping the damp soil beneath her. after watching the shrew's movement for a couple of heartbeats, the she-cat pounced, landing near the shrew and delivered a killing blow. the she-cat then re-emerged heartbeats later with her fresh-kill hanging from her jaws.

indentthe she-cat grinned to herself when the tom flicked her ear. she waited until the medicine disappeared into the woods before speaking, "so we're going to catch a mouse, or mice if we're lucky." she mewed, tasting the air. "can you smell anything different?" she mewed, hoping the she-cat is able to smell a strange scent nearby. nightholly knew that's the scent of a mouse, but for a medicine cat apprentice who devoted her time with the herbs, it might be slightly harder to tell animal scents apart from each other.

indenti sometimes wonder if we're only friends or if there is more to it. the tom thought to himself as he padded through the camp entrance. he glanced around, and noticed a couple cats as well as spiritstar were missing, "i think my sister went to the hunting patrol," he purred with amusement. "it's been months since she had gone out with a patrol, let alone a hunting patrol. it's time for her to get some excercises in." he added, adding an evil grin.

indentthe tom let out a small chuckle, "when everyone has a power, and you don't, that makes you very special. you're not original at all, in fact i think you're one of the special cats in this clan because you're different. there is nothing wrong with being a little different." the tom mewed, the tip of his tail flicking in thought. after hearing the power, the tom visibly gulped. "my power is rarely used." the tom began, pain flicking in his bluish grey eyes. "essentially i generate a force field which takes away both my health and energy. essentially it's used to protect the people around me or people i love. and since there isn't much imminenet danger, i don't really use it." the tom mewed slowly, images of his deceased kin slowing coming back to the tom. he gripped the ground with his claws. if only i could save them. if only the tom could.

After a bit of organizing, Eaglegaze sniffed at the fresh kill pile and picked a piece and quickly ate it to satisfy his hunger. Hunting was not a strength of his so he was glad that someone else was working with Whitepaw. He was curious to see how the progress of his apprentice was going and started to walk back out of the camp, knowing that they couldn't be too far from where he left them. It wasn't hard for him to catch their scent due to his heightened sense of smell, but he took his time with coming back to them as he didn't want to seem too panicked or excited. As soon as Nightholly came into view, all of Eaglegaze's attention focused onto her. He unknowingly walked forward until it was almost too late and nearly bumped into her. Stopping himself just short of the black and white cat's tail, he quickly backed up, hoping that no one noticed, perplexed as to what made him do that. "Any luck yet?" he asked quietly, not wanting to be a disturbance as he almost was.
