"You? Unbalanced?" Artemis asked in disbelief.

"i was a mess when i younger. studying teaching and criminal psychology wasn't always a piece of cake" Twin Drills said. "but then i learned that staring at notes all day did nothing. i developed sleeping problems. thus, i tried something, what if i could mix work and play together? you see, when i was in school, i learned through hands on experience better than reading a book. my classmates and i made pretend situations such as theft cases, murder cases, teaching environments, all of that. we had fun with it and it put us in that situation we were studying. if someone needed to revise a certain step, we paused and went back into it when they were ready. you see, there are other ways, and ways to mix both work and fun. you just need to see what works for you"

Artemis nodded, a small smile on her face. "Thanks, Mom." She said, hugging her.

Twin drills smiled and hugged her back. "anytime, dearest. besides, a little break never hurt anyone. i think a little take your daughter to work day may get your mind off things tomorrow"

"Really?" Artemis asked, her optics glowing.

"You're the best!" Artemis exclaimed, hugging her again.

Twin drills smiled and hugged back "anything for you, my dearest"

"I'll go back to bed, need to get up early."
