Anyway, here goes!
1. I love the little trunks of the Tephlans. Animals with trunks always give me the warm fuzzies, to be perfectly honest, so there's no way I WOULDN'T love them.
2. Tephlans can and will strip the bark off trees as a crunchy snack. Bad for the trees, good for the chubby trunker.
3. To pair with the above, I LOVE how the anatomy of the jaw and head actually looks like this would be a possible (all too easy!) hobby for them. Very often, a made-up animal does not look physically or logically capable of the things they're supposed to do, and it bugs me a bit. ^.^;
4. Vashta is Vashta, and the fact we can even get to Vashta and back with these crazy critters in tow tells us a lot about the world the Agency is set in without Mustang needing to elaborate!
5. The shear variety of beasties from Vashta is refreshing. There's something for everyone, and if one or two of the critters aren't your thing, you don't have to bother with them. It allows for a lot of individual world/character-building, if desired! Want a whole mass of Duxlins, no Nerra, and one or two Tephlans to help with chores? Go for it. Want an Arroris for show and thirty Nera for play? Have fun, my friend!
Hopefully everyone enjoys the grand opening! ^o^
