In my opinion, you could have taken a better route on wording how you won't be her friend in HS, it could have came off as rude to her. Honestly, I wouldn't have said anything at all because you never know what will happen. What if you guys did stay friends? I see why your friend thinks that way and your friend is hurt by what you had said. Maybe you should apologize to her and do explain what you meant. If you don't want to do anything like that then is she really your friend and are you really her friend?

I don’t want to talk too much about my personal life, but I could really use some comfort. I have a condition that interrupts everything about my adult life. Meeting new people, carrying on conversations, committing to a relationship, etc etc... And usually I can just look past it, but it ‘flared up’, or got really bad, today when I was doing a really simple task (trying to put my puppy’s name tag onto his collar through the little circle clasp) and I got so overwhelmed. It sucks. This sucks. I hate trying to be positive all the time and look past it. I hate trying to be perfect because I care so much about what others think of me. I hate my shallow egotism just because I want to defend my personal honor. I hate getting so angry just because someone criticizes my parenting skills. I’m falling apart. I can go weeks feeling positive, but then something like clipping my dog’s nametag just tears down all of those barriers I had set up.
I need comfort, I need to talk to someone about this.
I can’t go to a doctor, I don’t want to go to a professional, I just want a friend to talk to about it.
I can’t even talk to my parents or my boyfriend because I don’t WANT to be diagnosed with something. I don’t WANT to take medicine, I just want to go on with my life, and I want to be normal.
I hate this.
