also, this is a very weird question lol,, but when our characters shift do their clothes shift with them or get left behind?

i was thinking the same thing my man xD i assumed they stay with them because otherwise it would make for some very awkward occassions (i was thinking kind of like in DnD— if you're a character with beast shape then when you shift your clothes kinda just go into some empty pocket of space until you're human again)
