Rede [♂] & Pennarum [♂]The important thing is not to stop questioning.
It's obvious that you're dying, dying
Just living proof that the camera's lying
Curiosity has its own reason for existing.

The secretary wasn't used to people coming in towards the ends of visiting hours. Family members were usually in to visit the patients in the early morning, if they came in at all. Yet, here he was, smiling at her as he stood in front of her desk.
'I'm looking for Rede Villia's room?'
'Rede Villia?' She checked the map, and noticed the red flag in the corner. 'Are you family?'
The young man shook his head, a bemused expression on his face. 'I'm an old friend.'
She glanced down at the flag once more, then shrugged. 'Second hallway, third room from the end.' He nodded his thanks, and started down the hallway without another word. She watched, just for a moment, before shoving the strange man to the back of her mind.
The doctor gazed through the window in the door, before turning once more to the young man in front of him.
'He hasn't responded to anything for about a month. I doubt anything will happen, even if you do talk to him.'
The youth nodded, dyed hair falling in front of his eyes. 'With all due respect, Doctor, I'd still like to try.'
The doctor stepped to the side. 'Be my guest.'
The door latched firmly into place with a small click. The bare linoleum floor echoed with the sound of footsteps as the young man walked towards the room's only occupant. The boy stared aimlessly at the ceiling, blatantly ignoring the the approaching visitor.
'You gonna stare at the ceiling all day, Red?'
The boy tensed, eyes wide as he slowly looked down.
'And here I did just what you asked me to and everything. You going to tell me that was all pointless?'
The boy's lips moved, struggling to force out the words. 'P...Pen?'
The young man grinned, throwing his arms up, grinning as idiotically as ever. 'In the flesh, Red!' The boy drew in deep, gulping breaths, chest heaving as his eyes widened even more in shook. The grin faded off of Pen's face, quickly replace with a look of deepest concern. He moved closer, crouching down beside the boy. 'Red? You okay?'
All the breath was knocked out of his body as he was tackled by the boy, his thin arms curling around his waist as he started sobbing into his shirt. Pen's gaze softened as he started stroking the sobbing boy's hair.
'Hey Pen?' The boy's voice was strangled from the tears.
'Yeah?'
'I love you.'
.Ad Infinitum.
Curiosity killed the cat...
Much madness is divinest sense to a discerning eye...
...and satisfaction brought it back.
