The terrirtory is a broken land, that upon some distant time, was most part flat bare rock, but once when all of time was younger, it was plagued by quakes that either gouged the ground into canyons or threw up massive blocks of stone that created jutting spires and uneven walkways. A permanent mist hangs over it. It is a strangely damp and dank land, water pools in the low areas and there is a long lake along the southern border that was once a thriving forest that flooded, killing all the trees. Swimming there is extremely dangerous as there are many snags from the dead trees and a lion can get caught and drowned.
