Lilleigh hummed Hush Little Baby to herself as she watched a girl with a bag walk by. It was her favorite song her mother sang to her as a child, before she became infatuated with men and alcohol.

Fayth tripped and everything fell out of her bag. She looked as though she was about to cry and then knelt down to pick them up.

Lilleigh hopped out of her tree and rushed to help the stranger pick up her belongings. "Are you okay?" she asked kindly.

Fayth looked up at the girl shyly. She nodded and continued picking up her groceries

"Here," Lilleigh said, putting the last thing in the bag. "Hope your day gets better," she commented, seeing as how the girl looked like she was on the verge of tears.

Fayth tried to smile at the girl. "th-thank you" she said quietly.

"No problem," Lilleigh responded, getting back up in her tree. "Maybe if her comes back, I can apologize for earlier," she whispered to herself.

"hm?" Fayth asked wondering what the girl was mummbling about. She stood up and held her bag tightly

"Nothing, just talking to myself. Have a nice day," Lilleigh said, swinging her feet back and forth. There was no point in going inside, mom was having a 'date', which Lilleigh knew what that obviously meant. She shuddered at the thought.

"bye" Fayth said quietly and continued to walk down the side walk.

Jake left his house. His car privilages had been taken away so he just walked down the street. there was no way he owed his sister 54 bucks.
