Hounds of the Night are a closed species, meaning only staff members may create them. Legend tells of a hound who flew down from the moon, in search of a place to call his own. He started the line of Hounds. The Hounds are born the size of a normal large puppy and can grow up to the size of a Great Dane. They can live up to 40 years in the wild. Hounds reach maturity at age 5.

Hounds can have any natural coat. Ranging from normal dog coats to horse coats as well. The only unnatural color they could have are their eyes.
