Wanted a second opinion on this one. They haven't been playing nearly as long as I have, so I thought maybe they were just a newbie who didn't really understand what they were asking. Imo they were asking me WAY too much for a single 2014 common chicken, but when I updated it asking for one of the recent event pets and even offered a few more rares on my part because of that, but they acted like I was nuts for editing it. Kinda wanted to know what anyone else thought. Was this really a reasonable trade for someone to expect me to accept?

Asking because their reaction made me second-guess myself and I want to know if I"m the one out of touch.

counting pets like 2 very common from 2018 are equal to 1common from 2018 and those two are worth an 2017 common and so on doesnt really work with current low demand common pets and is just a little bit ridiculous.
in my opinion its big overpay to you, a 2018 rare is worth 2-4C$ and their low demand common chicken is worth around 1-2 C$ - end of story

Using a 2:1 uncommon to rare ratio, your side is technically worth a 2014 common almost exactly. However, I'd think a 2014 common might still be easier to trade for than a 2018 rare, and I would personally not trade quantity for a common if I could help it. In short, I wouldn't have taken the trade either, but what they were asking for was "technically" fair?

the beg usually goes for around 1 - 1,5 nons, but you might need some time to get 1,5 nons for it, ive seen it going for 1 non only many times and the toxic is worth less than a sorbet, plus your pet is omgsr.
in my opinion your side is worth 2 nons - their side is worth around 1,5 nons (2 nons only if you are lucky), i personally would keep the zonkey, but its up to you ♥

its hard to say what omgsr rats are really worth, some value them at a sorbet, some still at list placement and others wouldnt pay anything because its still a bad demand rat, no matter what rarity.
i love rats, but to be honest, i personally wouldnt pay a sorbets worth for a speckled rat.
