Raven smiled weakly. "Well, I'm a diclonius. We have impossibly long and strong invisible arms called vectors." she started off. "Well, there was this one girl named Rebeca. She was cruel. Mean. Pretty. Popular. Everything I used to want to be." she said. She took a deep breath. Here goes the only person I was ever almost friends with. she thought to herself. "After school, I was walking home in the woods. She was bothering me and....I killed her. Ripped her apart limb for limb, and left her body to rot." she said quickly. She braced herself for his reaction.

Alex's eyes widened. "Wow. You killed her? I-I've killed someone too. As, you know, I'm a shifter. Someone found out, and they threatened to kill me. You know what happened after that. I haven't been a shark since." He shuddered, remembering the fear he felt before killing the other kid. The young shape shifter grabbed Raven's hand and squeezed. "It'll be okay. No one else has to know, do they? We'll just hold our secrets tight."

((I just realized that they're still in a tree. xD))

(Yeah. They're standing up, too. We never made them sit down XD)

Raven's whole arm tingled. "Alex, what if I do it again, though? This place reeks of jocks and preps." she said as she crinkled her nose, but then relaxed it.

(Let's just say they were sitting. xD)

"You won't. I'll make sure of that. Most of the kids aren't that bad here, anyway. I did see this one guy though." Alex frowned, remembering the jocks teasing him earlier. "Emma can use her magical people skills to keep people away from you if it gets too bad. I don't know how she does it." He laughed. Emma was so much more talkative, it was surprising that the two could even stand looking at each other.

Raven smiled weakly. "I honestly don't know how I can stand Emma. She's so bubbly, but there's something that makes me not have the urge to kill her." she said, sort of joking, sort of not. Her face turned serious again. She turned her head and looked Alex in the eyes. "Alex, it's not really something you or I or anyone can control, though. I need you to not be near me when I'm in that state. I could kill you, too." she said solemnly. "I don't know what I'd do with myself if that happened." she said quietly.

Madison grumbled and opened her eyes, unable to sleep. Her true form was what she longed to be in at every moment, but she couldnt, of course. She got out a small peice of paper, a sticky note. She wrote in her neat handwriting;
Hey, im in the next room, since you have the other one. Lol. Went out for a... Walk. Be back soon.
Your room mate,
Madison.

She stuck it on the TV and walked out the door and down the hallway, and out into the courtyard. She passed a few adults and walked out of campus naturally and searched for the nearby forest her and her pack were to live from now until she graduated.

James smiled. "Hey, my name's James. What's yours?" He did a quick back flip underwater, and ran a hand through his hair to fix it.

(James and Madison can share a room, it'll have been some mistake.)

"Evviee." She said, kicking off her sneakers and sitting at the end of the pool. "Nice to meet you, James."

Madison eventually returned to the edge of the forest line after greeting her pack, and a sleek and slender sold black woolf emerged, sporting huge 8ft span wings that were black as night, shedding huge feathers along with it. Her blue eyes shone and she calmly went behind a tree where she had her back pack, and quickly turned from 'Shadow' back to Madison, and slipped her tight clothes on from the waist down, and slipped on her bra. She still had her wings, though, and tucked them carefully into the indentation in her spine before putting her shirt on. A couple of feathers, small ones, could be seen out of the top of the shirt she was wearing, but with her long blonde hair down you couldnt see a thing. She swept the bangs out of her face and put her hair up and a quick ponytail, letting her bangs stay down. She walked back into campus, a few disapproving looks from teachers, but that was it. She saw an outdoor pool and decided to wait before jumping in with large black wings sticking out of her back. Some people told her she looked like a dark angel, with her pretty face and large features. She was fit and happy, and was very eager to make friends. She saw a guy in the pool and a girl on the edge. She thought, Aha, that boys cute. Then kepy walking, back into the hallway and into her dorm. Nobody had been there since she was, so she took the sticky note off the TV and lay on her stomache on the couch, and clicked on the TV

Alex laughed. "Yeah, she's the happiest person I've ever gotten along with." Hearing the second part of what Raven said, he frowned ad squeezed her hand again. "I'll try. It will be hard not to help you, though. Just, if you ever kill someone again, be careful." He jumped out of the tree. "That's enough serious stuff. Let's go do something else." He told her with a smile.

"Evviee." She said, kicking off her sneakers and sitting at the end of the pool. "Nice to meet you, James."

"Hmmm, Evviee. What an interesting name. Are you going to get in, Evviee?" James asked her, trying out the name. He decided he liked it.

Raven used her vectors to swing herself down after him. "Alright." she said as she landed next to him with a thud.
