overhearing only a few words of their conversation, she noted that they should "go wolf" and run somewhere. She curled towards her left wing and twisted to the front of the large oak she was lurking behind. Now in the open her violet hide swaying with the slight wind.
(that should do it

((sorry, i had to go to a party))
She saw them all turn into wolfs, and then that other wolf follow them
She had waited enough time, and as she got up to follow their scent, she heard another sound
What now? She thought to herself
And she saw another wolf
This time, she would not stay quiet, and she howl softly to the newcomer, trying to get her attention

A wave of loneliness suddenly hit Janine. How long had she been wondering all along by herself? Six years? Ten years? She had lost count long ago, as it meant nothing to her any more. The bitterness of being alone suddenly hit her, and the wolf shape-shifter lifted her proud muzzle in a long, lonely howl that came directly from the heart. It was somewhat high-pitched, as she was a female and that was how all female's howls sounded, but there was another thing in the howl... Bitterness? One could not tell, not even Janine could tell as she continued to howl her heart out.
