And also, nice stories @GigglePie and @rainy.day ^^ Both are cute, and I can actually relate myself to rainy.day 's story xD Especially this sentence: "He would call me abnoxious, wierd, give me strange looks- but he stood up for me. " It's like me and my best friend.

Diego

Part One
Present-Tense Anne's view

We were just 2 young souls in love. He, a professional basketball player, and me, a cheerleader. Sure, how I look now doesnt really say that I'm the head cheerleader, but I am, and right now Im not on duty for cheerleading. I dont like being like all those other cheerleaders; snooty, mean, bossy, and they cant even deal with one man. They have to have like, 3. Nope. Not me. Diego is the only one for me, and no one could replace him. I like to kick back after I dont have to pretend to be so snooty and just hang with my friends. Today i'm at Diego's basketball game, watching in the bleachers.

When the game is over, he runs over to me and swings me around in the air. I giggle constantly as he wraps a black and red towel around my shoulders. I hand him a bag, and he looks in it couriously. There is his necklace and bracelet; thier kinda lucky to him, so I wont ever forget them when I come to every basketball game he plays. "Hey Anne." He says to me. I smile, hugging him. "Hi, Diego!" I shriek. Diego has his own truck, so we get out of the stadium and jump in. I fumble with the door before Diego follows and closes it for me. I jump into the driver's seat when he doesnt look and giggle. "Dont sit on me!" I say. He pretends like he cant hear me, and he also fumbles with the door before closing it. "Why cant I drive?" I whine. He shakes his head, shoving me into the passengers seat. We click our seatbelts. "Because, Anne, you dont even have your drivers liscense with you, do you?" He asks. I slouch in my seat, turning on the AC. "No...." I reply, rolling down the window.

Part 2

Diego smirks. "So, thats your answer." He says, driving away from the stadium. We pass booming music, and trucks and cars overflowing the street. "Diego.. We should go to a PARTY." I say, smiling. He frowns. "No, Anne. We are not going to a party!"
"But why?" I ask.
"Because." He answers.
"But why?"
"BECAUSE."
"Whhhyyy???"
"ANNE We are not going to a party, end of story." He says.

I slouch in my seat.

The next morning I jump out of bed and scuttle across the room, fleeing outside and slipping a jacket on. I see Diego's truck outside. I open the door. "Diego, can I FINALLY drive? I have my liscense!" I ask. He smiles, getting out of the truck and jumping in the passengers side. I perk up. "Sure." he replies. I scuttle into the drivers seat and we take off. We come to a meadow; a soft, yellow meadow. We get out and I leave everything in the truck; even the keys. I gladly remember that I left it unlocked. We sit in the meadow, staring at the clouds. "You know, Diego," I begin. "your the only one for me. No one could ever replace you." I smile. He hugs me. "I know." He laughs.
